SWAT Incident (Dallas)

On March 21, 2017, at about 8:54 p.m., Dallas Narcotics officers were serving a warrant in the 2100 block of Chatham Square Court. As Narcotics officers reached the front of the residence, shots were fired at the officers. The situation was then treated as a barricaded person(s) incident. Dallas SWAT officers were notified and responded to the scene. Eventually, three individuals were taken into custody without incident. No officers were injured. The investigation is ongoing.


Motorcycle Accident (Collin County)

Collin County EMS Medic 1 has requested PHI Med 2 to the scene of a motorcycle accident at FM 1827 / New Hope Road E. and CR 466. PHI Med has landed at the scene.

Update – Patient is being transported by ground to Medical Center of McKinney with major injuries. Flight crew on board to assist with patient care.


Auto Pedestrian (N. Richland Hills)

North Richland Hills PD reports they have closed the eastbound Texas 183 TEXpress lanes at Rufe Snow due to a reported auto pedestrian crash. They do expect a prolonged closure. Its best to choose another route.

Update – NRHPD confirms a fatality at the scene. Avoid this area.


Police Incident (Collin County)

Multiple Collin County sheriffs deputies, Princeton PD, Frisco PD, Lowry Crossing FD, Princeton FD, and Collin County EMS (AMR) are on scene of a police incident in the 2200 block of The Crossings Drive in Lowry Crossing, Collin County. The incident has concluded with at least one person deceased.


Fatality Crash (Denton)

The Denton PD is investigating a fatality crash that occurred earlier this evening in the 2200 block of Fort Worth Drive (Hwy 377) between Massey St. and E. Mission St. Denton PD confirms a vehicle vs. motorcycle crash and one fatality. The investigation is ongoing.


Public Assistance Requested (Dallas)

The Dallas Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance regarding the following incident:

On March 18, 2017, at about 2:10 a.m., a dark colored sedan, unknown make and model, struck a female pedestrian in the 2200 block of Cedar Springs Road. After the vehicle struck the female pedestrian, the unknown driver stopped and exited the vehicle. The driver walked back, looked at the pedestrian on the ground, and fled the location in an unknown direction. The driver is described as a Black male with short curly hair, approximately 5’10” to 6’2” in height, and was last seen wearing a gray shirt and black pants. The suspect vehicle has front-end damage to the front windshield and possibly the back window. The victim is 23-year-old Rachel Spelman.

3 Alarm Fire (Irving)

Irving – 2 alarm structure fire at 2304 Century Center, Dr. Pepper plant. Heavy smoke on arrival. Fire on roof. Defensive fire. A9

Departmental Accident (Hurst)

On March 18, 2017, at about 3:04 am, Hurst Police Officer Brandon Minchew was sitting in his marked patrol Chevrolet Tahoe in the 100 block of the northbound lanes of Loop 820. Officer Minchew was blocking lanes of traffic due to a previous accident. While sitting in his vehicle with the emergency lights activated, it was struck in the back by a white Mazda sedan. Officer Minchew was transported to the hospital, treated for injuries, and released. The other driver was not injured. She was arrested and booked into the Hurst Jail for Intoxication Assault with a Vehicle.


Fatality Crash (Arlington)

The Arlington Police Department responded to a single car fatality crash that occurred around 5:30 a.m. in the 300 block of S. Bowen Rd. A woman driving a sedan lost control of her vehicle and struck the side of a commercial building. The Fire Department responded to the scene and helped remove the driver from the damaged car. The woman was transported to a local hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.


Rollover Accident (Farmersville)

Farmersville FD, Collin County EMS, and multiple law enforcement are working a rollover accident on eastbound Highway 380 near CR 699 just east of Farmersville. PHI Med 2 is airlifting one patient to Medical Center of Plano from this scene. Eastbound lanes of 380 are closed. 


Accident w/ HazMat (Frisco/Plano)

Frisco Quint 8, Plano Engine 10, and DPS troopers are on scene of a major accident on northbound 121 near Coit Road. All northbound lanes have been closed along with at least one SB lane. Reports indicate a vehicle and a gas truck involved. HazMat has been requested to the scene. Expect a prolonged closure due to cleanup.


Accident w/ Fire (Dallas)

Dallas Fire-Rescue and Dallas Police are working a major accident on northbound Walton Walker/Loop 12 at I30. Reports indicate one vehicle caught fire. Truck 50 reports a fatality at the scene. All northbound lanes are forced to exit off the freeway. Accident Investigators have been called to the scene.


Fatality Crash (Cleburne)

One person died in an early morning vehicle crash on Highway 67 between Cleburne and Bono. Around 1:30am this morning, Cleburne FD, Bono FD, Cleburne PD, CareFlite ground EMS, Johnson County sheriffs and DPS troopers all responded to a major accident on Highway 67 near FM 1434. Reports indicate at least one vehicle and one 18 wheeler were involved. One person died at the scene.


Major Accident (Ellis County)

Highway 287 is closed between Waxahachie and Ennis due to an earlier 18 wheeler crash. This morning around 6am, Ellis County ESD #6 firefighters, Ellis County EMS Medic 162, and multiple law enforcement responded to an 18 wheeler crash on southbound Highway 287 near Old Church Road. One patient was ground transported with serious injuries. Reports indicate the 18 wheeler was significantly damaged. Extensive cleanup is still in progress.


ATV Accident (Bosque County)

Three CareFlite helicopters have been called to a reported off road/ATV accident near the 2200 block of CR 2800 outside of Morgan, TX in Bosque County. Two helicopters have lifted off the scene and the final one has just landed. All three patients will be airlifted to Harris Methodist in Fort Worth.


Gas Leak w/ Fire (Dallas)

Dallas Fire-Rescue has requested a 2nd alarm response to a gas leak that has ignited a fire near the 2100 block of Main Street in downtown Dallas. One building is exposed to the fire. Main Street will be closed through this area.


Major Accident (Benbrook)

Benbrook FD – 820 East between Winscott and Bryant Irvin for a major accident with entrapment. Requesting Fort Worth Fire and MedStar as well as Careflite.

Update to this incident – I20 is closed in both directions. 18 wheeler vs. vehicle with major damage. One person trapped. CareFlite on scene


SWAT Incident (Johnson County)

*Delayed for officer safety* – For the past four hours, Johnson County sheriffs deputies and other law enforcement have been on scene of a barricaded person in the 400 block of E. Godley Ave. Police responded to reports of a suicidal subject with gunshots heard in the area around 6pm. Law enforcement has the suspect in police custody. CareFlite air medical has been called to the scene to airlift the suspect to a hospital. Unknown severity of injuries at this time.


House Fire (Dallas)

Dallas Fire-Rescue is on scene with heavy smoke showing from a one story house in the 6100 block of Spring Valley Road. Working fire. Dallas PD requested to assist with traffic control on Spring Valley between Preston and Hughes. Its best to avoid this area.


House Fire (Plano)

Engine 12, Engine 4, Engine 7, and other Plano FD units are working a house fire in the 4800 block of Holly Berry Drive. Engine 12 has fire attack in the garage. Heavy smoke will be visible from this fire.


Search (Grapevine)

Texas Game Wardens have located one missing boater and are still looking for a second. Denton County Game Warden located a child wandering around in nearby wooded area, one of the two missing boaters from last night. The search, involving Game Wardens and other emergency personnel from the area, continues today in the area of Denton Creek near Grapevine Lake.


Major Accident (Arlington)

Truck 9, Quint 6, Arlington EMS, and Arlington PD are working a major accident on eastbound I20 near Collins Street, requesting an additional engine and ambulance to the scene. Multiple lanes blocked. Engine 9 responding to assist. A total of three ambulances have been called to the scene. Its best to find another route.


Major Accident (Waxahachie)

Waxahachie Truck 3, Engine 3, Ellis County Medic 172, and Waxahachie PD are working a serious accident involving a motorcycle on Butcher Road near Hwy 77. Medic 172 is ground transporting a patient to Methodist central with major injuries. Butcher Road is closed.


Apartment Fire (Dallas)

Engine 48 is on scene with heavy smoke and fire showing from a 2 story apartment building in the 8700 block of Ferndale Road. Battalion 3, Battalion 4, Engine 31, Engine 57, Truck 57, Truck 39, and Rescue 57 all assigned to the fire.

Update – Command has requested a 2nd alarm to the scene of this fire.


Major Accident (Johnson County)

Liberty Chapel FD, CareFlite ground and air EMS, and multiple law enforcement are on scene of a major accident on Highway 171 near CR 312 just south of Cleburne. CareFlite air was called to the scene. Major delays still present on Highway 171 through this area.


Trauma Injury (Burleson)

Burleson Engine 3, Chief 2, MedStar EMS, and Burleson PD are on scene of a traumatic injury and requesting launch of CareFlite air medical. CareFlite will be using THR Burleson’s helipad for the landing zone. MedStar 24 is ground transporting a pediatric patient to the helipad now to meet with CareFlite. CareFlite is airlifting a young child to Cook Children’s, injury from a second story fall. Patient is alert.


Major Accident (Mansfield)

A motorcyclist involved in a major crash yesterday has died at JPS. Mansfield FD/EMS and MPD responded to the crash at Main St./Business 287 and Debbie Ln. yesterday evening before 8pm. The patient was transported with serious injuries to JPS, but passed away early this morning. Mansfield PD is investigating the accident.


Fatality Accident (Ft Worth)

Fort Worth FD Engine 22, Forest Hill FD Engine 23, multiple MedStar EMS units, and Fort Worth PD are all working a major accident on the southbound Loop 820 service road near Mansfield Highway/Business 287. Reported to be a vehicle rollover onto the service road. One fatality reported at the scene and at least two other patients with potentially serious injuries. FWPD is handling the investigation. Its best to avoid this area.


Shooting (Arlington)

The Arlington Police Department responded to a report of a shooting around 6 a.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in the 6000 block of W. Poly Webb Road. Officers believe that this was the result of an attempted robbery of the victim. While it is still early in the investigation, detectives believe that the victim, a man in his 20’s, was jogging to a local gym in the area. The victim noticed a pickup truck that appeared to be following him and circle in front of him in a business parking lot. The victim reported that a suspect, later determined to be a juvenile, exited from the passenger side of the pickup and pointed a firearm at him while demanding his property. The victim pulled out a concealed firearm and began shooting at the suspect, striking him at least once in the leg.
The suspect fled to the pickup truck which was later found abandoned on Cedar Cove Court and Lindberg Drive. The pickup was determined to be stolen out of Arlington on February 16, 2017. Officers received information that the suspect then entered an SUV driven by an adult female. This SUV was stopped by officers at the intersection of Poly Webb Road and Little Road. The suspect was compliant and transported to the hospital for treatment. Based upon the fact that the suspect is a juvenile, no additional identifying information will be released on the suspect.
Detectives are still trying to figure out the female’s involvement and determine who the driver of the pickup was. The victim was not injured and is being interviewed by detectives. Crime scene is processing both vehicles and the shooting scene.


Major Accident (Dallas)

Truck 43, Engine 43, Engine 30, Dallas Sheriffs deputies, and Dallas PD are all on scene of a major accident involving a vehicle fire and 18 wheeler rollover southbound I35E near Royal Lane. Multiple vehicles involved. Unknown injuries. All southbound lanes will be closed for extensive clean up. Big delays. Avoid!


Shooting (Dallas)

Information from Dallas Police Department: On February 20, 2017, at approximately 3:33 PM officers responded to a shooting call at 9633 Ferris Branch apartment 318. Upon arrival, officers found a Black female in the parking lot of the apartment complex with a gunshot wound to her leg. She directed officers to apartment 318 and Dallas Fire Rescue transported her to Presbyterian Hospital in good condition. Officers located apartment 318 and found the victim, Jason Ali Edwards B/M/39, deceased in the apartment from gunshot wounds. Dallas Fire Rescue pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. Homicide, Crime Scene and the DCME’s office responded to the scene. A canvass of the area and witnesses interviewed stated that a silver four door vehicle was seen leaving the complex after the shooting. The witnesses stated that a B/M wearing a black and red jacket was seen leaving the apartment and entering the silver vehicle.


House Fire (Wylie)

Wylie Quint 142 is on scene with fire and smoke showing from the roof of a house in the 3500 block of W. Olivia Drive. Murphy FD and Sachse FD have been dispatched to assist. Battalion 140 has command. Everyone is out of the house.


Search (Ft Worth)

Multiple Fort Worth PD units and FWPD Air-1 helicopter are searching for a possible armed person in the area of Keller Haslet Road and Vista Greens Drive on the north side. Units are searching around a pond near the location. Reports indicate a white male wearing a backpack, black baseball cap, blue jeans, and a dark shirt possibly had a weapon. Very heavy police activity in this area. Its best to avoid the area.

Update – Suspect is accused of firing at an officer. The suspect is now in custody and units are beginning to clear the scene. Great job FWPD!


Police Activity (North Richland Hills)

On February 18, 2017 at 6:49 AM, a North Richland Hills officer initiated a traffic stop in the 6300 block of Davis Boulevard. After the vehicle stopped, the officer approached from the passenger side of the vehicle to speak with the driver. It was reported that the driver without warning, made a sudden lunge towards the officer, while reaching behind the passenger seat for a weapon. In fear for their life, the officer discharged one round from their duty weapon. The round however, did not injure the driver. The driver began complying with officer commands. Additional units arrived on scene, and the driver of the vehicle was placed in to custody. Officers observed a machete located behind the passenger seat.
The officer has been placed on administrative leave, as per policy, while an internal investigation is conducted. The driver of the vehicle was transported to the North Richland Hills jail, charges pending.


Investigation (Arlington)

Arlington PD and Crime Scene are on scene at an apartment complex near the 4900 block of S. Cooper Street. A crime scene is established at the apartment complex next to the Denny’s restaurant. Unknown details at this time, but reports indicate it was a possible shooting.


Major Accident (Frisco)

Frisco FD/EMS and PD are working a major accident on Preston Road between Main St. and Eldorado Pkwy. Multiple ambulances are on scene to transport multiple victims. Injuries are serious and potentially critical. Extrication has been completed. All lanes of Preston Road are closed at this time. Avoid this area.


Pursuit End (Johnson County)

At 09:19 am today, the Cleburne Police Department received information about a possible disturbance in a vehicle in the 2200 block of N Main. The caller advised a female and a male were in a vehicle and possibly needed help. Once the Cleburne Police Department located the vehicle, the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed. Officers pursued the vehicle into the county. At FM 2280 and Slayton Road, the fleeing vehicle wrecked into some trees. There were no other vehicles involved in the wreck. The male driver fled on foot. The female passenger was located in the vehicle with minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to a hospital. A Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Warden deployed his K9 and was able to locate the suspect. He has been identified as Bobby Glen Wimbish, II, a 37 year old male from Cleburne. Wimbish was arrested for an outstanding warrant from Pardon and Parole and has also been charged with Evading Arrest in a Vehicle. The Cleburne Police Department would like to thank the following agencies for their assistance: Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Warden and K9, Johnson County Constable, Keene PD, and Burleson PD.

Cleburne PD, Johnson County sheriffs, DPS troopers, Keene PD, and Game Warden K-9 are all on scene of a pursuit end near FM 2280 and Slayton Road. Law enforcement was pursuing a vehicle when it wrecked out and the subject fled on foot. Johnson County is on scene utilizing a drone to help search for the suspect. This is all happening near the community of Egan north of Keene. Its best to stay away from this area.

Update – Suspect has just been caught with the help of K9!


Accident w/ Entrapment (Frisco)

Battalion 2, Quint 6, Medic 6, Rescue 1, Truck 4, and Frisco PD are on scene of a major accident with reported entrapment on Rockhill Parkway under the Dallas N. Tollway. At least two cars involved and one person trapped. Requesting a second ambulance to the scene. Extrication is in progress.

Update – Extrication complete. Medic 6 is ground transporting one patient to THR Plano, potentially serious injuries.


Major Accident (Godley)

CareFlite has airlifted a patient from the scene of a major accident, possible auto pedestrian, in Godley at FM 2331/Pearson St. and Allen Ave. The accident occurred around 3:30pm. Godley FD, CareFlite ground and air EMS, and law enforcement all responded.


Shooting (Ft Worth)

Multiple Fort Worth PD units are on scene of a reported shooting in the 2600 block of W. 7th Street. FWPD responded to the area of Montgomery Plaza for a shooting incident around 12:30pm.A suspect is in custody. One person transported to a local hospital, but no major injuries are reported.  The investigation is ongoing. Expect heavy police presence on scene throughout the afternoon.


Restaurant Fire (Plano)

Plano Fire is still on scene of an early morning fire at a restaurant in the 900 block of N. Central Expressway. Engine 1 was first on scene around 4:30am this morning with fire showing from the Corner Bakery restaurant. FD crews are still in defensive attack mode and have advised of a possible impending structural collapse. Expect fire activity at this scene throughout the day.


Gunshot Wound (Little Elm)

Little Elm PD and FD are on scene of a reported shooting in the 2900 block of Baybreeze Drive. One person shot in the abdomen. Air Medical was on standby, but disregarded. Little Elm EMS will be ground transporting the patient. Expect heavy PD presence due to investigation.


Rollover Accident (Keller)

Keller FD and PD are on scene of a reported vehicle rollover, possibly striking a house, in the 600 block of Keller Smithfield Road and Johnson Road. At least two patients. Requesting a second ambulance to the location. CareFlite is on standby. Now requesting a third ambulance to the scene.


Rollover Accident (Arlington)

Arlington Engine 16 is on scene of a vehicle rollover with multiple people injured on southbound Hwy 360/Watson Road near Webb Lynn Road. Two truck companies, an additional engine, and Battalion Chief are all en route along with Arlington EMS and Arlington PD. Update – Launching air medical to the scene. Grand Prairie FD is also on scene with multiple units. PHI Med 8 helicopter en route. Requesting a total of three ambulances from Arlington EMS, and two Grand Prairie ambulances reportedly on scene.


Barricaded Person (Arlington)

*Delayed for officer safety* Pantego PD, Dalworthington Gardens PD, and Arlington PD have taken a suspect into custody from a barricaded person situation in the 2500 block of Windy Pine Lane. AISD held children at nearby Short Elementary due to the situation. One person is in custody at this time.


Barricaded Person (Arlington)

*Delayed for officer safety* Pantego PD, Dalworthington Gardens PD, and Arlington PD have taken a suspect into custody from a barricaded person situation in the 2500 block of Windy Pine Lane. AISD held children at nearby Short Elementary due to the situation. One person is in custody at this time.


Large Grass Fire (Crandall)

Crandall FD with assistance from Forney, Scurry, Combine, and Seagoville FDs are working to contain a large grass fire off S. FM 148 south of Crandall near the Central Baptist Church. Unknown size at this time. Heavy smoke is visible from this fire.


Fatality Accident (Grand Prairie)

From TxDPS: At approximately 8:45 a.m. highway patrol troopers were called to a crash on the President George Bush Turnpike (PGBT) near IH 30. Preliminary information reveals a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado Pickup was traveling south on the PGBT. A disabled semi-trailer was parked on the left shoulder of the PGBT between the IH 30 east exit ramp and the IH 30 west exit ramp. For an as yet undetermined reason, the driver of the pickup traveled onto the shoulder and struck the rear of semi-trailer. The driver of the pickup died at the scene. No other injuries were reported. The name of the driver is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The roadway was closed for approximately 3 hours.


Major Accident with Entrapment (2600 Blk of FM544)

Major Accident with Entrapment (2600 Blk of FM544) Medic 166 and E166 on scene of a pickup truck vs a shipping truck with major damage and one person pinned. Requesting a 2nd truck from Carrollton to assist with extensive extrication. PHI Med 10 helicopter also enroute. A3

Update to Lewisville accident – Extrication has been completed. Patient being transported by ground to Plano Presbyterian ER.


Major Accident (Ennis)

Ennis Truck 192, Engine 192, Medic 192, Medic 191, and others are on scene of a major accident involving a vehicle and an 18 wheeler on northbound I45 near Creechville Road. Major damage. Launching PHI air medical to the scene.
