Fatality Accident (Arlington)

The Arlington Police Department responded to a major crash investigation involving a motorcycle in the 4600 block of W. Sublett Road around 7:17 p.m. Investigators believe that the motorcycle was traveling eastbound and attempted to pass another vehicle when the operator lost control and struck a curb. The motorcycle operator was ejected and struck a pole near the roadway. The operator was pronounced deceased at the scene. Investigators believe speed may have been a factor in the crash.


Major Accident (Alvarado)

Alvarado FD, CareFlite ground EMS, and multiple law enforcement are on scene of a major accident involving two vehicles on Highway 67 between Alvarado and Keene. CareFlite has landed at the scene for air transport.

CareFlite is airlifting one patient to Harris downtown. Restrained driver in a vehicle crash with extrication.


Officer Involved Shooting (Ft Worth)

Several FWPD units are on scene of an officer involved shooting near the 3900 block of Mt. Vernon Ave. on the east side. FWPD was called to the location at around 5:20pm to investigate someone walking around with a gun, possibly intoxicated. The situation has transpired to an officer involved shooting. All officers are OK. More details when released.


Pursuit (Ft Worth)

Dalworthington Gardens PD, Pantego PD, and Arlington PD are on scene of a vehicle pursuit that ended near I30 and Cooks Lane.At least one suspect (possibly more) has fled on foot in the woods south of I30 between Ederville Road and the interstate. Fort Worth PD’s Air-1 is en route to assist ground units in the search. Arlington PD reports multiple burglary suspects are on the loose: Suspects are a male wearing ball cap, white shirt, blue jeans & a white female pink tank top & a third male suspect black windbreaker.


Traffic Alert (Denton)

Denton PD reports all main lanes of northbound and southbound I35E have been CLOSED due to a downed power line on the roadway near Post Oak Drive. There is no time estimate of reopen. Its best to find another route!


Fatal Incident (Dallas)

Dallas Fire-Rescue and Police are on scene of an unknown situation involving a mobile tower near the 1700 block of Arts Plaza (downtown area). Units are requesting the Medical Examiner for one person deceased on scene. It’s best to avoid this area while emergency crews investigate the scene.

Update – This is a reported crane collapse at the base of a mobile tower. Other details are not known at this time.


Major Accident (Ennis)

Ennis Truck 192, Engine 192, Ellis County Medic 192, and multiple law enforcement are on scene of a major accident southbound I45 near the 287 interchange. Medic 192 reports at least two vehicles involved. Major damage. Air medical launched, but was disregarded. Three ambulances have been called to the scene.


Shooting (Dallas)

Multiple Dallas PD units are working a shooting at a multi-story building in the 8300 block of LBJ Freeway Service Road near Schroeder Road. Units are working to clear the building at this time. This is an active scene. AVOID this area.


18 Wheeler Fire (Waxahachie)

Waxahachie Fire Dept. and Police are on scene of a fully involved 18 wheeler fire on southbound I35E at 287. This will be in front of Baylor Waxahachie hospital. The 18 wheeler is fully engulfed in flames. All southbound lanes are closed. Requesting tankers to the scene for water supply assistance. Its best to avoid this area.


Major Accident (Arlington)

Quint 8, Engine 8, Arlington EMS Medic 8, and Arlington PD are on scene of a major accident westbound I30 just before Cooper St. Medic 8 is ground transporting one patient to JPS. This was dispatched as a major crash with ejection.


Major Accident (Johnson County)

Rio Vista FD, CareFlite ground EMS, and multiple law enforcement are on scene of a major accident in the 2900 block of County Road 1110 near County Road 1219. CareFlite has lifted off the scene transporting one patient into Fort Worth. Dispatched as a vehicle in the ditch with possible entrapment. One person was declared deceased on the scene.


Shooting (Burleson)

Burleson FD and PD along with several other law enforcement are on scene of a reported shooting incident near the Jack in the Box on SW Wilshire. CareFlite will be airlifting one gunshot victim to JPS. Circumstances are not known at this time. Expect heavy police presence in this area.


Fatal Motorcycle Accident (Ft Worth)

Engine 31, Engine 37, MedStar EMS, and multiple Fort Worth PD officers are on scene of a motorcycle accident at N. Beach St. and Heritage Trace Parkway. Reported vehicle and motorcycle involved. One patient is deceased on the scene. A second patient is being transported to JPS with major trauma injuries.


House Explosion (Navarro County)

A little bit outside of our coverage area, but multiple agencies are on scene of a house explosion along Highway 31 near Dawson, TX in south Navarro County. The Navarro County Office of Emergency Management reports four people have been rescued from the house so far, and a 5th rescue is in progress.


Major Accident (Terrell)

Terrell FD, CareFlite ground EMS, and others are on scene of a major accident near FM 986 and CR 249 in far north Kaufman County. CareFlite has landed at the scene for air transport.

Update – CareFlite airlifting one person to Parkland.


18 Wheeler Crash (Denton)

Denton Fire-Rescue and Police are working a major accident involving an 18 wheeler and fuel spill on northbound I35 just north of the I35 E/W split. Only the right lane is open. Major delays extending onto both northbound I35E and I35W.


Rollover Accident (Collin County)

Melissa FD, Anna FD, Collin County EMS, multiple law enforcement are on scene of a rollover accident involving a commercial vehicle on Highway 121 at Highway 5. All lanes of 121 are closed. PHI Med 2 is airlifting a patient to Medical Center of Plano. Possible ejection.


Major Accident (Grand Prairie)

Grand Prairie Fire/EMS and PD are on scene of a reported rollover accident with possible ejection on eastbound I30 at the Belt Line Road exit. Grand Prairie EMS is ground transporting one patient code 3 (lights/siren) to Methodist Dallas. (Information: Grand Prairie Reporter)


Fatal Shooting (Arlington)

The Arlington Police Department responded to a death investigation in the 2200 block of Ridge Run Road around 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 14, 2017. A neighbor called police after a young child had come to the neighbor’s residence to report his mother was not responsive. Officers arrived on scene and located a woman in her mid-20’s deceased with an apparent gunshot wound. The young child was unharmed. 

Investigators are processing the scene and searching for clues that may have led to the shooting death. Anyone with information is asked to contact Homicide Detective Caleb Blank at 817-459-5735. Fatality Accident (Frisco)

Frisco Police Accident Investigators are investigating a fatality motorcycle crash that occurred on Friday, April 14th, 2017 at approximately 5:07 a.m. A motorcycle was travelling eastbound Eldorado Pkwy east of Teel Pkwy when the driver was involved in a crash with two other vehicles. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to a local hospital and was later pronounced dead from his injuries. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. No other parties were injured in the crash.
A cause of the crash has not yet been determined and no charges have been filed at this time.


Major Accident (Ellis County)

Waxahachie FD, multiple Ellis County EMS ambulances, and several law enforcement are on scene of a major accident with possible ejection on Highway 287 at Pimlico between Waxahachie and Ennis. One ambulance will be ground transporting a patient to Children’s Dallas, serious injuries. Additional injuries are being assessed. Major delays in this area – seek another route.


Accident w/ Entrapment (Rio Vista)

Rio Vista FD, Cleburne FD, CareFlite ground EMS, and multiple law enforcement officers are on scene of a major accident with reported entrapment on Highway 174 near Fox Run Road between Cleburne and Rio Vista. Reported to be a head-on collision. Avoid this area.

Update – Fatality accident.


Homicide (Ft Worth)

From FWPD: On 04/11/2017, West Division officers were dispatched to the 5600 block of Wellesley Ave. in reference to a shots fired call. Upon arrival, officers located the victim lying on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital for treatment, but did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased. Homicide detectives are investigating.


Auto Pedestrian (Arlington)

The Arlington Police Department is investigating a reported auto vs. pedestrian crash that occurred this morning at the intersection of Park Springs Blvd and Pleasant Ridge. Arlington EMS ground transported the patient, reported to be a juvenile, to MCA with very serious injuries. APD is still on scene at this intersection to investigate the crash.


Structure Fire (Dallas)

Engine 16, Battalion 6, and other DFR units are working a large metal building on fire in the 3900 block of Singleton Blvd. Heavy smoke will be visible from this fire. Command has requested an additional truck company to the scene.


High Water (McLennan County)

Sheriffs deputies and county fire departments in McLennan County (Waco area) are busy tonight with severe weather. Units report high water on I35 just north of Waco in Elm Mott. FD is on scene of a vehicle reportedly submerged in water on the access road of I35 in Elm Mott, and fire personnel have just been paged to assist with high water threatening a residence also in Elm Mott. There are also accidents along I35 between Hillsboro and Waco. Emergency responders are also dealing with a Tornado Warning on the southeastern part of the county. Busy night for our friends down in the Waco area.


Auto Pedestrian (Ft Worth)

Engine 14, Engine 3, MedStar 36, and east side Fort Worth PD officers are on scene of a reported vehicle vs. pedestrian in the 4100 block of E. Lancaster Ave. MedStar 36 reports CPR is in progress. MedStar 36 is ground transporting the patient to Harris downtown, trauma alert.


House Fire (Ft Worth)

Quint 16, Engine 23, and other FWFD units are on scene with heavy fire showing from a house in the 6400 block of Darwood Ave. Battalion 5, Engine 18, Engine 8, Engine 30, Quint 23, and Safety 1 are all assigned to the fire.


Accident w/ Entrapment (Joshua)

Joshua FD is on scene of a major accident with entrapment on Broadway / Highway 174 near Paula Street. Extrication is in progress. CareFlite air medical has been launched to the scene and will be landing in the roadway. Highway 174 will be closed for landing. Burleson FD is responding to assist along with Johnson County Engine 83.


Structure Fire (Rendon)

Rendon FD is on scene with fire showing from a structure in the 5500 block of Jessica Lane. Working fire. Everman FD, Kennedale FD, Crowley FD, Johnson County St. 82, and Dalworthington Gardens FD are all assisting. Edgecliff Village FD is standing by at Rendon’s station for any calls.


Structure Fire (Briaroaks)

Briaroaks FD, Alvarado FD, Rendon FD, Venus FD, Godley FD, ESD St. 82, and ESS 88 have been working a residential structure fire in the 600 block of S. Briaroaks Road. FD units were first on scene with a fully involved residential structure fire.


Major Accident (Dallas)

Dallas Fire-Rescue and Police are on scene of a multiple vehicle crash involving large trucks on northbound 75 near 635. All lanes have been closed due to this accident. One truck has rolled over. Avoid this area! 


Outdoor Siren Malfunction

FYI: We are getting reports of outdoor warning sirens sounding across Dallas County. There is currently no severe weather in the area.

Update – The sirens have sounded off and on at least three times now. Again, there is no severe weather threatening DFW at this hour. This appears to be a major malfunction. There is no emergency.

Dallas County OEM: System malfunction with City of Dallas siren system. Crews working to fix. No emergency. Please do NOT call 911. Thank you.


SWAT Incident (Grand Prairie)

*Delayed for officer safety* Grand Prairie Police officers and SWAT team members have taken a suspect into custody from a barricaded person situation in the 1800 block of Wedgewood Drive. The suspect, known to the police department, has a history of recent erratic behavior. GPPD was called to the house this morning to handle a disturbance call when the suspect barricaded himself inside the residence. SWAT was called to the scene and the incident is now over with the suspect in custody. Great job, Grand Prairie PD!


Apartment Fire (Dallas)

Battalion 4 is on scene with fire showing from a multi-story apartment building in the 9900 block of Forest Lane. Working fire declared. Battalion 2, Engine 22, Engine 28, Engine 57, Rescue 22, Truck 37, and Truck 57 are all assigned to the fire.


Accident w/ Entrapment (Collin County)

Nevada FD, Josephine FD, Farmersville FD, Wylie FD, Collin County EMS, Wylie EMS, and multiple law enforcement are on scene of a major accident with entrapment on Highway 78 near Business 78 in Copeville. CareFlite has been launched to the scene. 

Update – Medic 193 is ground transporting a patient with major injuries, CPR in progress. There is also a reported fatality at this scene.


Apartment Fire (Dallas)

Battalion 4, Engine 37, and other DFR units are on scene with heavy fire showing from the first floor of a reported two story apartment building in the 7000 block of Holly Hill Drive. A working fire has been declared. Battalion 3, Engine 22, Engine 28, Rescue 37, Truck 37, and Truck 57 are all assigned to the fire.


Shooting (Ft Worth)

Fort Worth PD is investigating a shooting incident in the 5000 block of Sunshine Drive on the east side of Fort Worth. MedStar is ground transporting a patient to JPS, serious gunshot wound injuries.


Traumatic Injury (Waxahachie)

Waxahachie Engine 3, Battalion 1, Ellis County Medic 161, and Supervisor 505 are on scene of a traumatic injury at the Urban Air Trampoline Park, 507 N Highway 77. Medic 161 has requested launch of CareFlite air medical to transport the patient. CareFlite 2 has been launched and will be landing at Baylor Waxahachie.


Possible Water Rescue (Grapevine Lake)

Grapevine Battalion 1, Engine 1, Dive 1, Marine 1, Engine 2, Medic 1, and Medic 5 are on scene of a possible water rescue on Grapevine Lake. Flower Mound Engine 502 and Medic 502 are also responding. Reports of an overturned watercraft with people in the water. Units are responding to the area of Bolo Lane and High Road on the north shore. Grapevine Marine 1 is on the water. Battalion 501 reports two victims in the water and in need of rescue. Flower Mound and Grapevine both have boats on the water.

Update – Grapevine Marine 1 has rescued one victim from the water. The second victim was able to swim to shore. Rescue completed.


Accident w/ Entrapment (Saginaw)

Saginaw FD Truck 14, Rescue 14, Fort Worth FD Engine 31, Rescue 38, Quint 9, MedStar EMS, and others are on scene of a major accident with entrapment at Blue Mound Road / FM 156 and Grand Central Parkway. CareFlite 1 has been launched to the scene and will be landing on Blue Mound Road. Extrication is in progress on one patient with serious to critical injuries.

Update – Extrication has been completed. CareFlite has landed at the scene.


HazMat (Ft Worth)

Quint 9, Engine 19, Battalion 3, Squad 2, Battalion 2, Truck 2, and MedStar EMS are on scene of a reported 18 wheeler fire in the 2900 block of Braswell Drive. CareFlite has just landed at the scene for to transport a burn victim.


Search (Bedford)

Grand Prairie PD and Bedford PD are searching for a subject on foot in the area of Bedford Road and Murphy Drive. Subject fled from police on foot after a vehicle chase. A perimeter is being established in the area. DPS-101 helicopter has been requested to the scene. Units are on foot searching the creek behind Bridgeton Lane. K-9 officer is on scene to assist. If you live in this area, stay inside and call Police if you see or hear anything suspicious.


Shooting (Frisco)

Frisco PD and Frisco FD/EMS are on scene of a shooting in the 6000 block of Larkspur Lane. Frisco Medic 3 is ground transporting a patient with major gunshot wound injuries. Expect heavy police presence in this neighborhood.


Major Accident (Ennis)

Ennis FD, Ellis County EMS, and multiple law enforcement are on scene of a major accident on Highway 287 near Oak Grove Road. Medic 191 has requested a total of three ambulances to the scene along with two medical helicopters. Avoid this area.


House Fire (Plano)

Battalion 1, Engine 2, Engine 1, Truck 1, and other Plano FD units are on scene with heavy smoke showing from a house in the 3300 block of John Muir Court. Engine 4 laying a supply line into Engine 1. Interior operations in progress. Heavy fire in the attic. Engine 6 laying a line.


Rollover Accident (Weatherford)

Weatherford FD, PD, and LifeCare EMS are on scene of a rollover accident eastbound I20 near Ric Williamson Memorial Highway. Delays affect both eastbound and westbound lanes. Engine 3 reports one vehicle on its side. Everyone is out of the vehicle and in the care of EMS. Its best to find another route.


Search (Lake Arlington)

At 7:33 pm on March 31st Arlington’s Dive Team responded to Lake Arlington for a report of a missing person.
Family members on scene reported that the 43 year old male had left on the jet ski, without a life vest, 3 hours prior and had not returned. Arlington’s Dive Team launched and began a search. Fort Worth PD Air 1 helicopter also responded to assist in the search.
Operations were suspended at 10:15 pm and resumed at 8:00 am today. Currently, dive teams from Arlington and Grand Prairie FD are searching the lake along with Tarrant Regional Water District and Texas Game Wardens. They are utilizing side scan sonar to assist in the search. This enables rescuers to quickly search a wide area and obtain detailed underwater images regardless of water clarity.
The operation is set to transition from rescue to recovery mode at 4:00 pm today, 24 hours after he was last seen.


House Fire (Ft Worth)

Engine 3, Engine 22 are on scene with heavy fire showing from a single story structure in the 5200 block of Nell Street. Working fire. Mutual aid from Forest Hill FD. Battalion 4, Truck 14, and Quint 24 also assigned to the fire.


Major Accident, Vehicle into Water (Ellis/Navarro Co)

Avalon FD, Forreston FD, Ellis County EMS, Navarro County units, and multiple law enforcement are on scene of a reported vehicle into a creek near FM 55 just south of Highway 34. Patient has been located downstream in the creek. CPR is in progress.

Ellis County Medic 152 is ground transporting the patient to Ennis Regional, CPR in progress. Firefighters on board to assist with patient care.


Officer Involved Shooting (Dallas)

On March 30, 2017, at approximately 8:40 p.m., Dallas Police SWAT officers were serving a narcotics warrant in the 3000 block of Clydedale Drive. When officers entered the residence they were confronted by an armed suspect. One officer fired founds striking the suspect. The suspect was transported to a local hospital by Dallas Fire Rescue in unknown condition. This is an ongoing investigation.


Fatality Fire (Ellis County)

Around 4:30pm this evening, Red Oak FD, Waxahachie FD, Ovilla FD, and Ellis County EMS medics were called to the scene of a structure fire in the 500 block of Pritchett Road. Fully involved structure fire upon FD arrival, reported to be a mobile home. There were at least two civilian injuries at the scene: one patient with burns was transported to Parkland and another patient was found deceased inside the structure. Ellis County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the incident.


Double Electrocution (Ft Worth)

At approximately 6:15pm March 29th 2017 the Fort Worth Fire Department responded to the 1500 Block of Oakland Place to a reported electrocution. When Fire units arrived on scene they were directed by bystanders to a heavily wooded area near the North end of Oakland Lake Park. Witness reported that two children had been electrocuted by fallen power lines. Fire units made their way into the area to locate the victims. Fire crews confirmed that there were two victims and the power lines were still energized and arching. A grass fire had also been ignited from the lines. Fort Worth Fire requested an emergency response from Oncor to assist in making the scene safe for fire and Medstar crews to enter and additional Fire units were requested to extinguish the fire. Oncor emergency response crews arrived on scene and were able to de-energize the lines. With the scene safe, Fire and Medstar personnel accessed the victims and determined that they were deceased. The victims were two boys approximately 11 to 12 years old. Final identification will be determined by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner. At this time the scene is being secured by FWPD. FWPD Chaplains are scene to support the family of the victims.


House Fire (Murphy)

Murphy Quint 191 and others are on scene of a working house fire in the 100 block of Devenshire Drive. Interior attack. Constant water supply established. Plano FD and others have been toned for mutual aid.


Major Accident (Forreston)

Forreston FD, Ellis County EMS, and law enforcement are on scene of a rollover accident with possible ejection in the 900 block of Dry Branch Road. Medic 172 is currently transporting a patient to Methodist Dallas, serious injuries. Medic 161 is transporting at least one patient to Baylor Waxahahachie, unknown severity.


Shooting (Ft Worth)

Fort Worth PD is on scene of a reported shooting in the 10200 block of Cool Spring Drive in far west Fort Worth. FWPD responded to reports of a possible robbery and person shot at a home just before 12pm today. We will post more information once its been released by FWPD.


SWAT Incident (Arlington)

*Delayed for officer safety* Arlington PD has taken a suspect into custody from a shooting and subsequent standoff in the 4800 block of Abbott Ave in southeast Arlington. The Arlington PD reports they received a call at 9:11am from an individual who reported he was shot. The incident may revolve around a domestic type situation. The SWAT team was called while units surrounded the house and area. SWAT has made entry into the home and the suspect is in custody. The neighborhood will be opening soon. Please remember: we delay posting SWAT incidents until the situation has been resolved.


Fatality Accident w/ Highway Closure (Frisco)

Frisco Quint 3, Medic 3, Truck 2, and others are on scene of a major accident involving multiple cars on northbound Dallas N. Tollway near 121. Medic 3 reports there is one fatality at the scene. FD units have blocked all northbound lanes. All lanes forced to exit the freeway. Multiple vehicles involved with major damage reported.


Fatality Accident (Arlington)

 The Arlington Police Department responded to a single vehicle crash around 3 a.m. in the 2000 block of California Lane. Investigators believe the vehicle was traveling eastbound on California Lane and for an unknown reason, the vehicle crossed into the westbound lanes, left the roadway and struck a tree. The sole occupant and driver of the vehicle, an 18-year old male, was pronounced deceased at the scene.  


Armed Robbery (Ft Worth)

Fort Worth PD is investigating an armed robbery in the 6500 block of Camp Bowie Blvd., reported to be at Loan Star Title Loans. FWPD Air-1 helicopter is overhead the scene. There are also numerous reports of heavy police activity at Hulen Mall, not too far from this location.


House Fire (Arlington)

Engine 14 is on scene of a working fire at a house in the 2200 block of Park Springs Court, pulling a line. Smoke showing. Engine 3 also on scene. Arlington EMS is on scene for a reported victim.

Update – Crews have rescued one person from the fire. CPR is in progress.


Major Accident (Frisco)

Frisco FD Quint 7 and Medic 7 are on scene of a reported major accident in the 11700 block of Kurth Drive, requesting a second ambulance to the scene along with a medical helicopter. One patient requiring air transport to Children’s Dallas.

Update – CareFlite has lifted off the scene en route to Children’s Dallas.

3 Alarm HazMat (Ft Worth)

Fort Worth Engine 1, Truck 1, and multiple other FWFD units are on scene of a reported hazardous materials incident near the 200 block of Pecan Street near downtown. A 2nd alarm has been called to the scene. Reports indicate this may have originated as a gas leak. Its best to avoid this area as there will be numerous Fire and Police crews on scene.

Update – A 3rd alarm has been called to the scene. Additional fire units are responding. Please continue to avoid this area. FWFD: Students from Montessori @ Sundance Square have been Evacuated to FW City Club Parents call 817-392-3306 for info about students


SWAT Incident (Dallas)

On March 21, 2017, at about 8:54 p.m., Dallas Narcotics officers were serving a warrant in the 2100 block of Chatham Square Court. As Narcotics officers reached the front of the residence, shots were fired at the officers. The situation was then treated as a barricaded person(s) incident. Dallas SWAT officers were notified and responded to the scene. Eventually, three individuals were taken into custody without incident. No officers were injured. The investigation is ongoing.


Motorcycle Accident (Collin County)

Collin County EMS Medic 1 has requested PHI Med 2 to the scene of a motorcycle accident at FM 1827 / New Hope Road E. and CR 466. PHI Med has landed at the scene.

Update – Patient is being transported by ground to Medical Center of McKinney with major injuries. Flight crew on board to assist with patient care.
