Accident with Ejection (Lewisville)

1500 SH121 Business – E166 on with vehicle rollover and 2 patients ejected.  Request total of 3 medics.  Air Medical on standby.  A3

*Update – PHI Med 10 was headed back from Plano and now hovering overhead. They will be landing to pick up the patient. 121 Business being shut down. A3

Auto Pedestrian (Arlington)

Arlington Police: “At about 4:50 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Park Row for a major accident involving a vehicle and pedestrian. Upon arrival, officers learned that someone on a skateboard was crossing street and struck by a vehicle, the driver of which left the scene.” Other details, including the rider’s age and condition, are not yet known.

Plane Crash (Grayson Co, Gordonville)

Airplane crash near Gordonville, TX (Grayson County, north of DFW) in the 300 block of Green Briar Road. This is a neighborhood immediately west of the Cedar Mills airstrip and Lake Texoma. A house is also on fire, but it is unknown if the aircraft struck the house. Air Evac 65 has been launched to the scene per Sherwood Shores FD.

Medical Emergency (Dallas)

Friends, a Dallas police officer has collapsed while on bike patrol. He has been taken to the hospital by DFR. We are monitoring the situation and will keep you updated.

UPDATE** we have received word that the police officer who collapsed today remains in critical condition

Fire (Irving)

You might have seen heavy black smoke around DFW Airport a little earlier today. Irving FD and HazMat were working a reported fuel tank fire near Esters Blvd and Reese Dr. Fire is under control.

Water Rescue (Dallas)

Dallas Fire Rescue and Dallas PD, are working a major incident at this time on Lake Ray Hubbard. Multiple rescues have been requested.

Dallas Police Department’s Aircraft, Air 1, had an incident near Lake Ray Hubbard. The pilot landed the aircraft safely but Dallas Fire Rescue transported the pilot to a Dallas area hospital with an unknown condition at this time. Credit: WFAA and DPD

NOT DFW – Train Derailment (Bosque County)

NOT DFW – Valley Mills, TX (Bosque County) Train Derailment – Valley Mills VFD, Clifton VFD, Waco FD HazMat, and Bosque County Emergency Management are working a major train derailment about a mile north of the Valley Mills city limits. Multiple train cars overturned and possibly leaking chemicals. (Info: Valley Mills VFD)

Rollover Accident (Mansfield)

Quint 3 is in command of a rollover accident, unknown location at this time. Medical helicopter was on standby, but is not needed. Occupant of the vehicle self-extricated. Reported to be 2 vehicles involved, one on its top. If we get a location, we will update.

Pursuit/Crash/Foot Pursuit (Grand Prairie/Arlington)

Grand Prairie PD were in pursuit of a vehicle when it crashed in the 1700 block of NE Green Oaks Blvd and near Ascension Blvd. At least 1 black male suspect fled on foot in area of Brown Blvd and Hidden Ridge Drive.

*Update – Arlington EMS is transporting the victim involved in head-on crash with the suspect to JPS. Heavy damage to the vehicles. Suspects were traveling at an estimated 80-90mph at time of collision. The victim was rendered unconscious as a result of this accident, but is now alert.

Overnight Shooting (Tarrant Co, Blue Mound)

Blue Mound PD: On March 18, 2015 at about 1:00am, Blue Mound Police officers were dispatched to a residence located at 601 Globe Ave to investigate a possible shooting. On arrival, officers found three individuals inside the residence. One of the individuals, a 19 year old male, was found to have been wounded by gun fire. He was transported to a local hospital, no condition available at this time. Witnesses indicated that the victim was attempting to open the front door of the residence when the suspect (s) fired a single round from an unknown type weather. The shooting is still under investigation.

Fatality Accident (Dallas)

At 4:45am this morning, Dallas Sheriffs and Dallas Fire were dispatched to a major accident involving an overturned 18 wheeler and a pickup truck on northbound I35E near Market Center. Sheriffs corrected the location as NB I35E at the Oak Lawn exit. There was a single fatality in the pickup truck. Other occupants were transported via Dallas Fire.
