Shooting (Dallas) 2800 blk Peavy Rd. – Male shot at listed location, unknown suspect info. Element code 6 (on scene), advising they have no updated suspect info & that comp is low sick (critical) & en route to Baylor. Crime scene tape, P.E.S., & CAPERS homicide requested.

1 Alarm Fire (Dallas)

1 Alarm Fire (Dallas) – 4400 Frank Street: Engine 44 out with fire on the side of a 1 story residential home.

UPDATE – Truck 19 on scene reporting electrical fire in the meter on the side of the house. Engine 44 has a red line in operation. The fire has been extinguished and all other companies can disregard and return to service. For those wondering, a red line is a thinner hose that is on a reel in the back of a fire engine. These red lines can quickly be pulled into operation much like you can use a garden hose from their storage rack, although the red line hoses are larger.

Rollover Accident (Ft Worth)

Accident (Ft Worth) Quint 13 on scene of a major accident with vehicle rollover at 7400 Jacksboro Highway at Love Circle. Squad 2, Engine 15 responding for extrication. Careflite requested to be on stand by. Lake Worth fire department also responding.

UPDATE – Multiple medics are working this accident. 1 patient is condition red (critical injuries).

Accident (Aledo) Station 34 units are on scene of an accident on West Bound Interstate 20 at Mile Marker 419. Reported rollover accident. Another accident is reported west bound at mile marker 420 with guardrail damage. Aledo, Hudson Oaks and Willow Park Fire departments are working these accidents.

Shooting (Dallas) 5328 S. Lamar St. – RP advising that a security guard is shot in the parking lot of the nightclub at listed location. Elements now on scene advising they have a confirmed shooting but no suspect information. DFR also advising compliant is low sick & will be transported to Baylor. Field Supervisor, P.E.S., & CAPERS Homicide requested.

Search (Dallas)

Search (Dallas) 6000 Skillman St – Officers along with Air-1 are searching for a homicide suspect in the listed area.  Suspect is reported to be a black male wearing all black.  Elements on the ground have been searching for the suspect since this afternoon.

Hurst Fire Department Open House

Fire Department Open House (Hurst) The Hurst Fire Department hosts their annual Open House this Saturday, Sept. 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fire Station #1, 2100 Precinct Line Road and you’re invited! Firefighters will conduct demonstrations of Jaws of Life, High Angle Rescue, Bomb Robot, S.W.A.T Medic Team display, all Hurst Fire Department apparatus and Northeast Fire Department Association equipment will be on display. There will be a jump house, water discharge station, face painting and PHI will land a air ambulance. Free Hot Dogs, drinks, Fire Safety information, Emergency Medical Service demonstrations, Steak Dinner Ticket sales and the 2012 Hurst Fire Department ‘Tough Enough to Wear Pink’ will be available.

Pursuit (Dallas/Arlington)

Vehicle Pursuit (Dallas/Arlington) Dallas Sheriff’s Office currently in pursuit of a vehicle near Park Village and Arkansas off SH 360.

UPDATE – After a chase through residential and commercial areas of Arlington near 360 and Arkansas/I20 and Collins area, the suspects have bailed in residential area near Florence St. Heavy police presence in the area.

FINAL UPDATE – Police have taken 2 suspects into custody on/near Jocyle Street in east Arlington. Great job DSO and APD!

Accident (Garland)

Accident (Garland) PD/FD have been on scene of a major accident involving a car and an 18 wheeler on North Bound 635 at Centerville Road. TXDOT is reporting that North Bound 635 is shut down for accident investigation. Everyone must exit at Centerville. We are hearing of a possible fatality at this accident.

Amber Alert (Garland) THE GARLAND POLICE DEPARTMENT IS SEARCHING FOR MALIYAH VERGENZ, HISPANIC FEMALE, 2 YEARS OLD, DATE OF BIRTH 05/05/10, UNKNOWN HEIGHT, UNKNOWN, WEIGHT, BROWN HAIR, BROWN EYES AND UNKNOWN CLOTHING DESCRIPTION. POLICE ARE LOOKING FOR PATRICIA GARCIA, AKA PATRICIA BERUMAN, AKA
PATRICIA CHAVEZ, AKA PATRICIA CRUCES, HISPANIC, FEMALE, 38 YEARS OLD, 5 FEET 3 INCHES TALL, WEIGHT 250 LBS. BROWN HAIR, BROWN EYES AND HAS A HEAVY SET UPPER BODY, CURLY HAIR AND A CHUBBY FACE, IN THIS ABDUCTION THE SUSPECT IS DRIVING A 1998 CHRYSLER ASPIRE WITH AN UNKNOWN PAPER LICENSE PLATE NUMBER. THE SUSPECT WAS LAST HEARD FROM IN THE GARLAND AREA.

Burleson House Fire Update

In regards to the Burleson house last evening, we were asked to post this message on how you can help the family: “A Burleson family’s house caught on fire last night. Mom and dad have 2 small children and 3 dogs! The family lost everything! They are in need of Walmart gift Cards, Dog Food, Clothes size 3T (girl), size 10 (girl), size 4 or 6 (Mom) and size L/32 waist (Dad). Child Shoes size 2 1/2 (girl) and 7 toddler (girl) and anything else you can think of! You can drop these donations off at Pinocchios in Burleson! Thanks friends for helping our community!” We are welcome to pass along info like this whenever asked to help those affected by disasters.

Pursuit Ended (Grapevine)

Pursuit Ended (Grapevine) Grapevine PD just ended a pursuit in front of Skate Town, 2000 William D Tate Avenue. The chase involved the “suspects” in this weekends Criminal Mischief regarding the fuel tank drilling at Bass Pro and Grapevine Mills Mall. Police requesting Fire and Ambulance to the scene for unknown reason.

Manure Fire (Cresson)

Manure Fire (Cresson) With all of the bad incidents we post, every now and then there comes one that we can’t help but have a little laugh and end up scratching our heads on. The Cresson fire department has been dispatched to two large piles of manure on fire at the Hyponex Corporation in the 14000 Block of Highway 171. Chief 30 is on scene watching over the company’s front end loaders put out the smoldering manure.
