Shooting (Dallas)

Shooting (Dallas) 9750 Walnut St. – Off-Duty officer was flagged down at listed location by a person that was shot. Suspects were in hoodies & were last seen fleeing SB toward Audelia Road on foot, Air-1 requested & is currently overhead.


Rescue (Flower Mound)

Rescue (Flower Mound) Murrell Park – E501, M501, B501 are on scene at the bicycle trails near Grapevine Lake attempting rescue of a bicyclist that hit a tree. Patient has possible head injury. E503 also responding with a stokes basket and B501 has Command. CareFlite is on standby. A3


Accident w/ Entrapment (Parker Co)

Major Accident w/ Entrapment, Launching Air Evac (Parker Co, Greenwood) Greenwood Battalion 41 on scene, vehicle vs. pole with confirmed entrapment in the 1400 block of Greenwood Cut Off Rd. Dispatch information was multiple trapped; no confirmed number on people trapped, though. LifeCare EMS requesting launch from Air Evac 55. PD requested code 3 (lights/siren) and Weatherford for mutual aid.


Stabbing (Dallas)

6800 Shady Brook Lane – Units responding a stabbing call have requested additional elements due to a “large crowd” and “numerous fights” in the parking lot of the location. Additional units incoming. Dallas Fire Rescue is responding to assist.


Major Accident (Dallas)

I45/US75 SB at Live Oak St. – Dallas Fire Rescue, Dallas Police and the Dallas Sheriff’s Department are all responding to a three vehicle major accident with one vehicle confirmed on it’s side. Debris and vehicles are located on both sides of the freeway. Numerous units responding to assist. Expect delays in the area. A4.


Vehicle/Foot Pursuit (Grand Prairie)

Vehicle/Foot Pursuit (Grand Prairie) Info from Grand Prairie PD: “At approximately 10:30am, an officer on routine patrol in the 1600blk of Dalworth Street observed a maroon 1995 GMC Suburban stop the vehicle in the middle of the roadway. As the officer watched this violation, he also observed a female run into the street and get into the passenger side of the vehicle.

Believing that the officer just observed the offense of prostitution, the officer attempted to make an investigative stop on the vehicle. The suspect then fled from the officer at a high rate of speed.

At times the suspect fled the wrong way on major highways such as Loop 12 and IH – 30. Keeping the safety of the public in mind, Officers backed off from the suspect and did not pursue the wrong way on the highways. DPD Air – 1 was then utilized by giving the location of the suspect.

The pursuit continued back into Grand Prairie where the suspect attempted to travel the wrong way on the service road of NB 161 at IH 30. As the suspect made the turn, the vehicle collided with a street sign and the driver fled on foot.

Officers pursued the driver who ran down the embankment to the main lanes of 161 where he was apprehended on highway 161 SB.
During the foot pursuit, a Grand Prairie Officer suffered minor injuries after falling approximately 8-10 feet from the embankment to the highway. That officer was transported to a local hospital by ground ambulance. He is expected to recover from his injuries.

The suspect was transported to the Grand Prairie Detention Center. As officers arrived at the detention center, the suspect stated he had swallowed a large amount of narcotics during the pursuit. The suspect was transported to an area hospital by ground ambulance and later released.”


Working House Fire (Ft Worth)

House Fire (Ft Worth) Engine 23, Quint 23 on scene in the 8400 block of Mojave Trail with a single story brick residential home with heavy smoke and fire showing thru the roof. Working fire declared. Engine 23 pulling a big booster. All occupants are reported out of the residence. A2


Industrial Incident

NOT DFW (Waco): many of you have driven down IH35 southbound and seen Baylor University’s new stadium. There is an ongoing search for a construction worker who fell into the river and is missing. Baylor PD along with Waco Fire and Police are conducting the search.


Major Accident (Dallas)

635 EB at Skillman St. – An off-duty Dallas Police Department officer has driven up on a three vehicle major accident on the freeway proper. The officer is requesting marked squad cars and Dallas Fire Rescue to the scene. A second MICU has been requested due to multiple injuries. A4.


2 Alarm Fire (Keller)

2 Alarm Fire (Keller) Command calling for a second alarm to the working structure fire in the 300 block of Calais Drive. Heavy fire reported in a 5,500 square foot residence. Westlake & North Richland Hills now responding. A2

1200 East Ninth Street- Battalion 6 is on location of an unknown size structure with heavy smoke showing on arrival. Command has requested two additional engines, 3 rescues, an EMS Supervisor and the DFR Air Wagon. A1/A4/A6.


Rollover Accident (Parker County)

Rollover Accident (Parker County) Station 44 units along with Lifecare 11 are working a major accident involving a vehicle rollover in the 1900 block of Old Tin Top Road. Brush 244 advising of one Chevy Avalanche on it’s top, one driver with head injury. Air Evac 55 was placed on stand by. A2

2 Alarm Grass Fire (Parker Co, Greenwood) Greenwood Fire on scene with a moderately sized grass fire in the 2000 block of Mineral Wells Hwy. Command requesting 2 alarms due to heavy fuels, difficult access to fire, and structures endangered. Greenwood, Weatherford, Peaster, Millsap, and Cool-Garner FDs all assigned.


Fatality Fire (Ft Worth)

Fatality Fire (Ft Worth) Around 2:00 this morning, Ft Worth FD was dispatched to a residential structure fire in the 2600 block of Market Ave. Engine & Quint 12 were first to arrive on scene and reported a single story wood framed residence fully involved with fire extending to a second home and several vehicles. Two fatalities were reported at the scene. Other occupants of the two homes escaped and a couple were transported to the hospital with reported non life threatening injuries. Fire crews and investigators are still on scene determining a cause. A2


Traffic (Dallas)

Traffic (Dallas) NB Julius Schepps Frwy. (I-45) over the Trinity River. – Major accident involving an 18-wheeler on the bridge over the Trinity River. Accident is in the NB lanes of Julius Schepps & is blocking all NB lanes. Officers have shutdown the freeway at East Illinois Avenue.


2/3 Alarm Fire (Dallas)

2 Alarm Fire (Dallas) Command has requested 2 alarms at the scene of another apartment fire in the 6800 blk of Shady Brook Lane.

3 Alarm Fire (Dallas) Command now calling 3 alarms on another large apartment fire in the 6800 block of Shady Brook Lane. Heavy fire throughout a multi-story apartment building. Again, this is another 3 alarm fire.


Follower Report (Ft Worth)

Shared from follower Michelle: If you live in the 76137 (north FTW/Watauga area) please be on the look out for a tan buick, older with two males driving, they are breaking into vehicles in the area. Smashing and grabbing whatever they can, they did this in my driveway!


SWAT (Grand Prairie)

SWAT (Grand Prairie) Info from Grand Prairie Police: “Yesterday (01/21/14) at approximately 6:30pm, Officers responded to a disturbance in the 5700 block of Appalossa Drive. It was reported that the suspect, Julian Ripple W/M 06-18-1991, arrived at his girlfriend’s family home where he stole a firearm. During the commission of the theft, the suspect fired the gun into the air and fled the scene. Officers were unable to locate the suspect.

Today at approximately 4:00am, Officers responded to the 1800 block of Family Circle on a disturbance involving the suspect and his family. During the disturbance, the suspect displayed a firearm and assaulted a family member. Fearing for their safety, the family fled the home and called 911.
Officers responded to the scene and attempted to contact the suspect at the home. Once the initial contact failed, a SWAT callout was initiated due to the suspect barricading himself in the house with a firearm.

Grand Prairie SWAT responded and deployed a “throw phone” into the house. Contact was made with the suspect who refused to surrender. After hours of failed negotiations, SWAT officers entered the home and took the suspect into custody.”


Schools Lockdown (Watauga)

Schools Lockdown (Watauga) Birdville ISD: Due to a domestic disturbance in the neighborhood, Hardeman Elementary and Watauga Middle School have been placed in lockdown. Students and staff are safe.

UPDATE – Update from Birdville ISD: Police have suspect in custody. Hardeman Elementary and Watauga Middle School are no longer in lock down.


Incident (Arlington)

Incident (Arlington) Info from Arlington Voice: As many as 30 people were forced to leave an Arlington Cheddar’s near I-20 and Little Road only a short while ago after a customer allegedly discharged pepper spray.
Early information from Lt. Christopher Cook with Arlington police indicates a customer may have been playing a prank or possibly discharged the spray on accident.
About 20 customers and 10 employees reported experiencing respiratory issues and had to vacate the building. EMS arrived on-scene to examine everyone. No injuries were reported. More coming soon…

Rollover w/ Entrapment (Plano)

Rollover Accident w/ Entrapment, Critical Injuries (Plano) Engine 5, Truck 5, and Medic 7 are working a major rollover accident with entrapment at Dallas N. Tollway and Plano Parkway. Vehicle reportedly rolled from highway to road below. 2 patients trapped, now extricated and being transported to Medical Center of Plano. Both patients with serious to critical injuries. A1


Body Found (Dallas)

Body Found (Dallas) Dallas PD with assistance from Air-1 and DFR is working a deceased body found in a river near 310 and Overton Rd. This is just east of I45 near Great Trinity Forest Blvd (Loop 12). Medical Examiner, Crime Scene, and Homicide requested.


3 Alarm Fire (Arlington)

3 Alarm Fire (Arlington) Overnight, Arlington FD worked a 3 alarm fire at the vacant CATS theatre building in the 1100 blk of W. Randol Mill. Engine 4 was first on scene in the 3am hour with fire showing from the structure. You may remember the 3 alarm fire we covered last year at that same theatre building (due to that fire, the building was vacant)


Entrapment Accident (Dallas)

Major Accident w/ Entrapment, Critical Injuries (Dallas) Engine 22, Rescue 22, Truck 41, Rescue 28, and Battalion 4 working a major vehicle vs tree accident with entrapment in the 7600 block of Royal Lane. 2 patients being transported, both with reported serious to critical injuries.

NOT DFW – Van Zandt County, TX – Reported residential explosion with fire. No information on location. Info from Van Zandt County Fire Marshal/Emergency Management: “Multiple fire departments, law enforcement and County Fire Marshal are on scene of a residential explosion and fire.”

*UPDATE – The explosion/fire will be a confirmed fatality fire, per Van Zandt County Fire Marshal/Emergency Management. Location is reported by a follower to be off Highway 47 near 1651 and 2430 out in the county, northeast of Mabank and southwest of Canton.

Major Accident (Keene)

Major Accident (Johnson Co, Keene) Medic 78 on scene at a major accident, FM 2280 at FM 3048. Heavy damage, requesting a 2nd ambulance to the scene. Alvarado Engine 2, Joshua Engine 77, & CareFlite ground EMS on scene assisting Keene Fire/EMS.
