Major Accident (Grand Prairie)

We had several inquiries regarding a major accident in Grand Prairie  about an hour and a half ago on 360 south of I20. A Homeland Security marked unit happen to be there at the time of the hit and run accident. After the subject evaded for a short distance, he was stopped. That is why there were so many Homeland Security vehicles on scene.

1 Alarm Fire (Southlake) Battalion 40, Engine 403 on scene in the 2100 block of N Carroll Avenue with smoke showing from the garage. Battalion 40 advising of a working fire at this time.  Command advising of an electrical fire inside the breaker box of the residence. A2

SWAT (Euless)

SWAT (Euless) Euless PD and SWAT took a reported barricaded suicidal subject into custody from an apartment complex in the 1100 block of El Camino Real and W. Pipeline Rd last night around midnight. Remember, we do not post ongoing SWAT incidents.

Fatality Accident (Grand Prairie)

Fatality Accident (Grand Prairie) Grand Prairie Police are investigating a fatal traffic collision that occurred Tuesday night at about 11:55 PM in the 4700 block of Magna Carta Blvd, near its intersection with Cheshire Way. A 2014 Nissan Pathfinder was southbound on Magna Carta when it crossed the center line and collided with a tree off the east side of the street. The driver and sole occupant was trapped in the wreckage and extricated by firefighters. He was taken by ambulance to Methodist Dallas Medical Center, but died at the hospital. – GPPD

Hot Pursuit (Dallas)

Hot Pursuit (Dallas) Dallas PD in pursuit of a vehicle, last known location of Garland Rd and Barnes Bridge. Possible armed suspect.

Hot Pursuit *UPDATE – Following information was delayed for officer safety. Since Dallas PD has tweeted out this information, we find it OK to send it out.
After losing sight during the vehicle pursuit, PD discovered the vehicle abandoned in the 4300 block of Motley Drive on the border of Dallas and Mesquite. Units requested K9 and Air-1 helicopter. Perimeter has been established, officers utilizing K9 to search for the suspect in a residential area near Oates Drive and La Prada Drive.

Major Accident (Cresson)

From Hood County News:
A 10-wheel concrete truck trying to make a turn Saturday morning off of Highway 377 in Cresson rolled over and busted a water line at a convenience store at the intersection with Performance Court. The driver, believed to be based out of a plant in Cleburne, had to be extricated with metal cutting tools by Cresson firefighters. He was transported to Lake Granbury Medical Center and authorities said his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
