Pursuit (Denton County)

Just before 4pm, law enforcement in Denton County engaged in a police pursuit with a Mercedes Benz believed to have evaded a DPS Trooper earlier in Wise County. Denton County SO caught up with the fleeing driver around I35E and FM 2181. DCSO advised the suspect was speeding and driving very erratically. Took exit for 121B from I35E. The pursuit was terminated on 121. A1

2 Alarm Fire (Roanoke)

This afternoon, Roanoke FD had a 2 alarm commercial restaurant fire, reported to be at Reno Reds off 377. Quint 661, Engine 661 arrived on scene with smoke showing. Engine 681 from Trophy Club responded mutual aid and made fire attack with RFD. Southlake, Keller, Westlake, Argyle, and Flower Mound also responded mutual aid.

Shooting (Denton Co, Justin)

Avoid the area of FM 156 and Sam Reynolds in Justin (Denton County). There was a reported drive-by shooting off 18000 block Cindy’s Lane. The vehicle fled scene and ultimately crashed at given intersection. Heavy police presence likely as crime scene investigation continues. A1

Missing Person (Arlington)

According to scanner traffic, Arlington Police are searching for an elderly white male in his late 80s with dementia. He is missing from a residence near S. Bowen Rd and Pecandale Dr in Arlington. His vehicle is a white 2012 Dodge Durango with license plate “MSH 502”. Multiple PD units are searching for the man. No details yet from Arlington PD, but we will share if received. If you are out and about in that area, be on the lookout for the vehicle. A1

Major Accident (Mansfield)

SB 287 is closed near Walnut Creek due to a major accident. Sounds like the accident involves a motorcycle. Avoid the area.

Accident Investigation team is on scene. Confirmed at least 1 vehicle involved, rolled at a high rate of speed. SB lanes remain closed. HazMat on scene cleaning up a fuel spill. No confirmation of motorcycle involved.
