Accident w/Entrapment (Haslet)

Accident w/ Entrapment (Haslet) Chief 28, Engine 28, Chief 228 on scene in the 12300 block of Business Highway 287 North reporting a two vehicle head on accident with reported entrapment. Chief 28 reporting major damage. Eage Mountain Medic 21 responding. A second ambulance has just been requested to the scene. A2

Highway Closure (Dallas)

All northbound and southbound lanes of 75 will be closed tomorrow (Sunday) morning around 7:30 a.m. due to the building implosion of a 12-story building at the southeast corner of the US 75 northbound frontage road and N. Carroll Avenue. TxDOT advising the highway will be closed between Haskell Avenue and Fitzhugh Avenue. Residents in the area can expect loud implosion activity around 8:00 a.m. TxDOT also says traffic will be stopped for approximately 15 to 20 minutes for roadway inspection and for the dust to clear.

Shooting (Garland)

Garland PD are investigating a shooting. Garland FD Engine 9 and Ambulance 9 were paged for a gunshot wound patient at the station. Possible shooting location of Ferguson & LBJ. Dallas PD also advising they got a call of a shooting near Ferguson and LBJ around 30 minutes prior to the dispatch for the gunshot wound victim at Garland FD Station 9. The victim has been transported to Baylor Dallas unknown condition. Investigation ongoing.

Stabbing (Ft Worth)

Fort Worth PD are investigating a homicide last night in the 6200 block of Vel Drive. Victim was transported to JPS by MedStar, but was declared deceased at the hospital. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner lists the cause of death as a stab wound to the neck.

Stabbing (Little Elm)

Law enforcement is investigating a stabbing incident with multiple patients in the 2600 block of Salt Maker Way. Little Elm Fire/EMS and Lake Cities EMS assigned. Reported 3 patients.

CareFlite stood down. Medic 622 ground transporting to MCP. Medic 591 ground transporting to Denton Regional. Both ambulances transporting code 3 (lights/siren) with serious injuries.

Fatal Motorcycle Accident (Denton)

Denton Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred yesterday afternoon in the 500 block of South Loop 288 near Shady Oaks Drive. The victim was transported by ground to Denton Regional Medical Center, but died at the hospital of blunt force injuries due to the motorcycle accident.

Fatal Fire Update (Arlington)

An update on the fatal fire yesterday morning at 5609 Parliament Drive in Arlington: The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has labeled the death as a suicide. A male in his late 40’s was found deceased at the scene of a house fire yesterday morning at given location. The ME says he died of a gunshot wound to the head. We will not release the name out of respect for the family.

Fatality Accident (Sanger)

Around 11pm last night, Sanger Fire/EMS and law enforcement were dispatched to a single vehicle major accident in front of 5740 FM 455 W, west of Sam Bass Road. PD was first on scene and advised a female was unconscious, not breathing, and impaled. Medic 672 on scene and confirmed patient is signal 27 (deceased person) and to stand down medical helicopter. The roadway was closed for investigation. The scene has since been cleared.

House Fire (Ft Worth)

House Fire (Ft Worth) 1 Alarm Fire (Ft Worth) Engine 4, Engine 22 on scene in the 5100 block of Foard Street reporting a single story wood frame residence with smoke showing. Working fire declared. Forest Hill FD responding automatic aid. A2

Accident w/ Fire (North Richland Hills)

Overnight, NRHFD Engine 224, Medic 224, Engine 223, Battalion 22 and NRHPD units worked a vehicle accident involving a subject who hit a gas meter. Natural gas fire involvement was also reported for several hours. Driver arrested for DWI after backing into gas meter and attempting to leave the scene. NRHFD cooled exposures as gas burned. ATMOS was also on scene for the incident. This all occurred in the 6600 block of Smithfield Road.

Fatality Accident (Arlington)

Arlington Police investigating an earlier fatal auto pedestrian accident near NE Green Oaks and Shadow Ridge Drive. APD was first on scene and found a victim struck by a vehicle with no pulse and shallow breathing. The victim was transported code 3 (lights/siren) to a nearby hospital, but died at the hospital. APD is looking for a vehicle that fled the scene going westbound on NE Green Oaks, possibly a dark green or blue SUV-type vehicle.

Aircraft Emergency (DFW Airport)

American Airlines Flight 1003 has declared emergency and will head back to DFW Airport.

*Update – According to a follower of DFW Scanner onboard American Airlines flight 1003, the airplane has landed safely back at DFW Airport. The flight declared an emergency over north/central Texas north of Abilene and flew back to DFW Airport. The plane was headed for Palm Springs, California. Glad to see it has landed safely.

Barricaded Person/SWAT Callout (Arlington)

*DELAYED* for officer safety
Arlington Police took a suspect into custody from a barricaded person incident in the 2100 block of Hunter Place Lane around 1:00am this morning. APD was dispatched to a domestic disturbance at given location around 9:00pm last night. A victim stated the suspect pointed a gun at them. Suspect had multiple guns inside the house. The victim was able to evacuate the house. A few residents in the immediate neighborhood on Hunter Place Ln, Templeton Dr, and Rockbrook Crt. were asked to evacuate or shelter in place while APD worked to apprehend the subject. According to APD, the suspect surrendered without incident at 1:00am (after DFW Scanner had stopped listening and gone to bed, ha!)

HazMat (Addison)

Addison FD has requested several ambulances to the scene of a reported hazardous materials leak with multiple people injured in the 15000 block of Addison Rd. Possible carbon monoxide leak.

*Update – Triage has been established. Dallas FD is sending 3 ambulances and a HazMat response.

Major Accident (Denton County)

Lake Cities FD is working a major accident with major injuries on SB I35E near the 457 exit (Lake Dallas). PHI Med 10 has landed at the scene. Major injuries reported.

*Update – PHI Med 10 airlifted to Medical Center of Plano. Medic 592 also transported 1 with CPR in progress to a nearby hospital.

Shooting (Hurst)

Hurst Police are investigating a shooting near Charlene Drive and Harrison Lane. Reports indicate at least 2 shot, unknown severity. Vehicle seen fleeing the scene, unknown if occupied by suspect(s). Euless PD advised Hurst PD of possible shooting victims located in the 3700 block of Sycamore Circle. It is not clear if the victims were shot near Charlene/Harrison or the other address in Euless. Very fluid situation. No official information yet.
