Grass Fire (Johnson County)

Cleburne, Bono, and Godley FDs are on scene of a grass fire near the lime plant in the 15000 block of FM 1434. Command is requesting aerial assets from the Texas A&M Forest Service. Joshua FD is also responding with a civilian drone to assist with aerial recon. Johnson County Emergency Management reports 4 acre grass fire in difficult terrain.


Accident w/ Fire (Ellis County)

Waxahachie FD is on scene of a reported head-on collision between a vehicle and a semi truck on FM 1446 near the Magnablend facility and Lone Elm Road. Maypearl, Forreston, and ESD #6 personnel have all been requested to the scene. Dispatched as possible entrapment. The semi truck is on fire.

Auto Pedestrian (Burleson)

Crowley Quint 54 and MedStar have launched CareFlite to the scene of an auto pedestrian accident in the 2800 block Greenway Drive. Avoid this area.

Update – Serious injuries. CareFlite will be landing at the golf course.

Update – CareFlite is airlifting to Harris.


Accident w/ Entrapment (Ft Worth)

Engine 14, Rescue 14, MedStar and multiple FWPD units are working a major accident with entrapment on eastbound I30 just before I35W. MedStar reports serious injuries to one patient involved. All others non serious. Expect major delays in this area.

Update – Two transports: one to Harris, one to JPS.


Structure Fire (Ft Worth)

Fort Worth FD is on scene of a structure fire in the 1600 block of Hemphill Street just west of JPS. Reported fire showing from a 2 story structure. Engine 8, Engine 10, Engine 5, Engine 2, Engine 1, Battalion 1, Battalion 2, Truck 2, Truck 8, Safety 1, EMS 99, Utility 5 and investigator all assigned to this fire.


SWAT (Arlington)

Arlington PD has cleared a house in the 4100 block of Crestover Court with no subject located. Earlier today, APD received a domestic disturbance call at the listed location. According to that call, the suspect displayed a firearm and made threats towards the victim. The victim managed to get away from him and called police. Based upon the victim’s statement to APD, it was determined that the suspect may have been barricaded inside the residence. Just a few moments ago, SWAT made entry into the residence and no suspect was located. Officers will begin clearing the area.


Smoke Investigation (DWG)

Engine 43, Engine 243, Squad 43 and DWG PD are working a smoke investigation in the 2200 block of Michigan Ave. Moderate amount of smoke showing from a facility behind a commercial business in this area. Investigation is ongoing. Avoid this area.

Update – Units are clearing after about an hour on scene. No hazard


Accident w/ Entrapment (Weatherford)

Battalion 1 is on scene of a reported vehicle vs tree with extended extrication required in the 3100 block of Old Dicey Road. Air medical has been launched to the scene. Extrication is in progress. Avoid this area.

Update – CareFlite has lifted from the scene en route to Harris Ft Worth.


Search (Ft Worth)

 Fort Worth PD is searching an area near the 9700 block of Jericho Lane, multiple gunshots heard in the area around 7:30pm tonight. Units are investigating the situation. Heavy police presence in the area.


Aircraft Down (Denton County)

Sanger FD and Denton County sheriffs are responding to an aircraft down near Waide Rd and Atcheson Rd in northwest Denton County. Unknown type of aircraft at this time. Additional information soon.

Update – Plane is torched. It caught fire. Conflicting information on the pilot. May have been airlifted to the hospital via a private civilian helicopter.


Major Accident (Frisco)

Battalion 2, Quint 7, Medic 7 on scene of a major accident, southbound FM 423 between Main St and Witt Rd. Major damage to two cars. Quint 7 has requested a 2nd ambulance. Little Elm FD Quint 622, Medic 622, Frisco FD Rescue 1, Truck 3, and Medic 4 all assigned. Quick extrication. Priority 1 injuries to one patient, CPR in progress.

Update – Little Elm Medic 622 ground transporting one to THR Plano. Frisco Medic 7 ground transporting one to Centennial Frisco, code 3 (lights/siren) major injuries


Accident w/ Multiple Patients (Ft Worth)

Engine 5, Engine 10, Engine 14, Rescue 14, multiple MedStar EMS units are FWPD are working a major accident with multiple patients on E Morningside Drive at I35W. Three ambulances assigned + an EMS supervisor. Reports of serious injuries to at least one patient. Approximately 10 minute extrication now complete.

Update – 3 transports: 2 to Harris, 1 to Cook Children’s


Pursuit / Crash (Arlington)

Arlington PD was in pursuit of a reported stolen vehicle when it crashed at Division St and Crowley Rd. APD reports multiple people injured in the crash.

At least one person trapped. Multiple ambulances have been requested to the scene.

Launching medical helicopter to the scene now. Multiple people trapped. Several ambulances have been requested. 

Command has requested the technical rescue team to the crash scene. Division and Crowley. 


Armed Robbery (Mansfield)

Mansfield PD is searching for a blue or dark colored Chevy Suburban involved in at least one armed robbery at a gas station in Mansfield off 1187. First three letters of license plate reported to be GCN. Reports indicate this suspect may have just robbed a bank off Matlock Road (unconfirmed at this time). If you are in this area, call Police if you spot a vehicle with said description and first three license plate numbers.


Accident w/ Entrapment (Frisco)

Battalion 1, Quint 5 are on scene of a major accident with vehicle off roadway and occupant trapped near Allegheny Drive and Pattison Drive. Reports of a vehicle vs. retaining wall. Medic 1, Rescue 1, Truck 1, and Safety 1 all assigned as well.

Update – Extrication complete. Serious injuries. Occupant will be ground transported to Medical Center of Plano.


Major Accident (Tarrant Co)

Westlake Engine 481 and Medic 481 have launched CareFlite 8 to the scene of a major accident on westbound 114 near Dove Road. All traffic will be forced to exit the freeway. Reports from a follower indicate at least one semi truck and one vehicle involved. Expect major delays. Avoid this area.


Rollover Accident (Ft Worth)

MedStar is ground transporting two patients from a rollover accident with serious injuries in the 600 block of N Henderson St near Little Germany. One transport to Cook Children’s and one to Harris. FWFD Squad 2, Engine 2, and Truck 2 all worked the scene with MedStar and FWPD.


House Fire (Azle)

 Azle Tanker 52 and Chief 52 on scene of a fully involved structure fire, reported large residence in the 8300 block of Samora Court. Defensive fire operations. Mutual aid from Eagle Mountain, Lake Worth, and La Junta FDs.


House Fire (Plano)

Battalion 1 is on scene with a moderate amount of fire showing from a 1 story house in the 3900 block of Vanderbilt Drive. Engine 6, Engine 4, Engine 2, Truck 1, Truck 4, Medic 6, Squad 2, Battalion 2, and Utility 12 all assigned to the fire.


Accident w/ HazMat (Dallas)

Battalion 1 and other DFR units, including HazMat, and DSO are working a major accident on northbound I35E just past Commonwealth. An 18 wheeler trailer has tipped onto the left median. Multiple lanes blocked. Expect heavy delays.

Update – Driver crawled out with no major injuries!

  


Explosion (Waxahachie)

Waxahachie FD, CareFlite ground and other emergency responders are on scene of a reported explosion at a house in the 100 block of Arabian Road. CareFlite ground has launched two medical helicopters to the scene for 2 people injured.

Update – CareFlite airlifting patient #1 to Parkland.

Additional details – Explosion occurred around 8am. Call was dispatched at 8:05am. Waxahachie FD Station 2 felt and heard the explosion.


Rollover Accident (Briaroaks)

Rescue 173 is on scene of a 2 vehicle accident with one rollover at E Renfro St and Christopher Ln. Major damage to one vehicle. No entrapment. CareFlite ground medic 903 is responding and air is on standby.

House Fire (Ft Worth)

Battalion 6, Quint 38, Engine 38, Engine 37, Engine 31, Quint 35, Safety 1, MedStar and FWPD are working a structure fire with burn victims in the 11000 block of Fumar Lane. CareFlite airlifting a critical burn victim to Parkland. At least one other victim with non serious injuries also taken to Parkland via ground.

Update on the mobile home fire in Fort Worth with burn victims: 
Fort Worth FD: A mobile home fire sent two people to Parkland hospital with burns this morning. Fire crews arrived on scene to find fire coming from the side of the mobile home, thankfully both occupants had been helped to escape by their next door neighbor. Careflite transported a 69 year old male to Parkland with some 2nd degree burns. The neighbor, a 46 year old female who helped the couple esccape their house, was transported to Parkland as well with non-life threatening injuries. The female occupant of the house received some minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene. The family’s dog was also rescued, however they lost two birds in the fire. American Red Cross is assisting the family with basic needs and shelter.


Accident Update (Arlington)

Quick update on the double rollover accident this morning on I20 – a person has died at MCA from injuries sustained in this accident. Emergency responders were dispatched to a major accident with rollover and possible ejection on eastbound I20 before 287 around 9am. The accident was located at eastbound I20 just after the 820 split. Two vehicles rolled over. All lanes were closed. A 70s year old male was ground transported to MCA, but died at the hospital.


Major Accident (Ft Worth)

Engine 14, Rescue 14, FWPD and multiple MedStar ambulances are working a major accident with multiple patients in the 1700 block of Miller Ave. Four ambulances on scene with a supervisor. No major injuries reported.

Update – Four transported. 2 to JPS and 2 to Harris.


Major Accident (Whitney)

Chief 125 is on scene of a reported vehicle vs power pole at SH 22 and CR 1245 just east of Whitney proper. All lanes of SH 22 will be closed. Power pole and live wires down across the roadway. Grass fire reported on both sides of the road. Unknown injuries at this time.


2 Alarm Fire (Lewisville)

Engine 1, Engine 4 and others on scene with heavy fire in attic of a house in the 400 block of Village Drive. PullingEngine 1, Engine 4 and others on scene with heavy fire in attic of a house in the 400 block of Valley Drive. Pulling a second line for fire attack. Flower Mound FD is mutual aid. This will be a 2 alarm fire. 


Shooting (McKinney)

McKinney PD is investigating a shooting this afternoon in the 3300 block of N McDonald St. McKinney EMS ground transported to victim to Medical Center of McKinney with multiple gun shot wounds. No additional information is known at this time.


Barricaded Person (Arlington)

*Delayed for officer safety* – Arlington PD and SWAT have apprehended a suspect involved in a barricaded person incident in the 600 block of Red Coat Lane in south Arlington. Earlier this morning, the APD Fugitive Unit attempted to apprehend a wanted fugitive, but the suspect fled into the residence and barricaded himself. SWAT negotiators communicated with the suspect via text message and issued commands via LRAD (Long Range Acoustic Device) technology. APD’s armored personnel carrier, the BEAR, was also on scene to assist in apprehension efforts. Gas was deployed inside the residence just before 3pm and officers made entry into the residence soon thereafter and took the suspect into custody. Great job, guys.


Shooting (Dallas)

Dallas PD are investigating a fatal shooting at a parking garage in the 2000 block of Elm Street. Victim is deceased on the scene. Officers requesting CAPERS (Crimes Against Persons) and PES (Crime Scene). Unknown suspect information at this time. Avoid the area.


Manhunt (Grapevine)

Grapevine PD with assistance from DPS-101 helicopter are searching for at least one subject who fled on foot from police. PD units have established a perimeter near the Classic Chevrolet at William D Tate and Hwy 114. Focus of the search is the wooded area behind the car dealership and north of Mustang Drive.


NOT DFW – Clay County

A wildfire has scorched 1,400 acres today approximately 25 miles south of Wichita Falls near Windthorst, TX. Several local FDs with assistance from the Texas A&M Forest Service are working this fire. The location is near Hoff Road and Oliver Wells Road (approx. 3 miles east of Highway 281 off Oliver Wells Road between Antelope and Windthorst). 2 homes have been lost and 20+ more are in danger. This is currently the largest wildfire in Texas.


Accident w/ Fire (Justin)

Justin FD is on scene of a reported head-on collision with vehicle on fire at FM 407 and Dove Hill Road. Medic 570 has requested the closest medical helicopter.

Update – Command requesting Denton FD HazMat for a large fuel spill. Also a grass fire has sparked at the location.

Structure Fire (Dallas)

Units are working a reported small church on fire in the 4500 block of Solar Lane. Battalion 5 and Engine 24 were first on scene with heavy smoke showing. Battalion 8, Engine 25, Engine 54, Truck 23, Truck 24, and Rescue 23 all assigned.


House Fire (Rendon)

Engine 26 and other Rendon FD units are on scene of a house fire in the 5000 block of Rendon Road. Heavy fire showing from the garage.

Update – 2 alarms. Mutual aid from Mansfield, Dalworthington Gardens, and others.


Hot Pursuit (Ft Worth)

Arlington PD is in hot pursuit of a possible carjacking suspect in Fort Worth southbound 8th Ave from I30.

@ArlingtonPD: Pursuit ended at International Plaza and Arbor Lawn in Fort Worth. Suspect car spun out and he’s now in custody.


Major Accident (Burleson)

 Engine 2, MedStar, and PD are on scene of a major accident, reported as a head-on collision, northbound S Burleson Blvd/I35W feeder and Bethesda Road. Engine 2 reports major damage. Rescue 1 is responding.
Update – 2nd ambulance requested.


Major Accident (Richardson)

Richardson PD are investigating an early morning major accident at Coit Rd and Belt Line Rd. Reported as a possible fatality accident. At least two vehicles involved with major damage and debris all over the roadway. The crash happened this morning around 5:15am.


Motorcycle Accident (Arlington)

Quint 7, Engine 7, Medic 20 and Arlington PD are working a motorcycle accident on eastbound I20 at 287. Medic 20 is ground transporting priority 2 (serious injuries) to JPS with two firefighters on board for assistance with patient care. Rider reportedly ejected from the motorcycle. Medic 20 reports severe leg injury and head trauma.


2 Alarm Apartment Fire (Dallas)

Engine 57, Truck 57 are on scene with heavy fire in the attic of a 2 story apartment building in the 12400 block of Abrams Road. Battalion 2, Battalion 4, Engine 28, Engine 29, Truck 37, and Rescue 28 all assigned.

Update – Command has requested 2 alarms to the scene of this apartment fire. Battalion 2 reports heavy fire thru the roof.


Hot Pursuit Update

A quick update on the armed bank robbery/police chase from Grandview to the south Mansfield area. The bad guys are in custody and all officers are going home safe. #BackTheBlue
Johnson County Sheriffs Office: At 12:02 p.m. Johnson County Sheriff Dispatchers received a call concerning an armed robbery at the Grandview Bank, at 105 N. Criner. A single suspect went into the bank and pulled handgun on the teller. Wearing a hat and bandanna attempting to hide his identity. 
Grandview Police Officer Alberto Sanchez was in the area and was the first officer to get in on the initial pursuit. Johnson County Sheriff’s Office deputies joined the pursuit followed by Alvarado, and Mansfield as the chase continued.
At 12:39 p.m. the vehicle was crashed in trees on Davis Street in Mansfield. After a brief struggle, a father (41) and daughter (17) were taken into custody. A Smith & Wesson semiautomatic handgun was recovered from the vehicle.
The chase went through Grandview to Alvarado to Venus up 157 to U.S. 287 then to Broad Street at speeds up to 150 MPH then ended at 360 and Davis Street. The suspects will be brought to the Johnson County Jail while the FBI is en route to the bank.
Sheriff Alford would like to Thank all the agencies and officers involved. The suspects are in custody and no one was injured.


Auto Pedestrian (Lewisville)

Battalion 160, Engine 161, Medic 161 and others have landed CareFlite at the scene of a reported auto pedestrian in the 800 block of S. Valley Parkway, Sun Valley Aquatic Center. Dispatched as a child hit by a vehicle. CareFlite 9 has landed at the scene.

Update – CareFlite is airlifting to Children’s Dallas.
