Search (Irving)

Irving Police are searching for a person who ran on foot in the general area of Pioneer Drive and Esters Road. DPS-101 is overhead and reports indicate Grand Prairie PD is en route with K9.


Pursuit / Crash (Parker County)

Wise County sheriffs were in pursuit of a Mustang at high speeds when the suspect crashed off FM 51 and Pojo Road near the Springtown Middle School in Parker County. Unknown suspect information at this time. Expect heavy police activity in this area.


House Fire (Bedford)

House Fire (Bedford) Battalion 15 on scene in the 1500 block of Wimberly Court reporting a large single story residence with heavy fire in the garage and into the roof. Automatic aid responding from Hurst Fire Department. Engine 151 starting fire attack. A2


Accident w/ Entrapment (Mesquite)

Mesquite Fire/EMS and PD on scene of a major accident with entrapment, reported minivan crash into the back of an 18 wheeler along westbound I20 past 740. Extrication is in progress. CareFlite air has been launched to the scene. (Information: Mesquite Scanner)


Rescue (Ft Worth)

Engine 1, Truck 1, Engine 14, Rescue 14, and Squad 2 all responded to an overturned construction machinery near Cold Springs Road and 28th St. One patient extricated and transported with minor injuries.
  


House Fire (Arlington)

PIC – Arlington FD is currently working a 2 alarm house fire on Mountain Lake Court near Lake Arlington. Defensive operations. Fire thru the roof.

2 Alarm Fire (Dallas)

Dallas Fire Rescue on scene of a working fire inside a multi story commercial office building in the 8200 block of Elmbrook Drive near W Mockingbird. Units are reporting fire on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Fire attack in progress. This is a 2 alarm fire, so expect more than a dozen fire apparatus in the area.


Hot Pursuit (Garland)

Garland PD is in pursuit of a motorcycle from a racing incident westbound Miller Road from Shiloh. DPS-101 following.

Update – Pursuit terminated near 635 and Hillcrest. Motorcycle reportedly traveling at 120 mph.


Major Accident (Dallas)

Dallas Police and Fire on scene of a major rollover accident northbound 75 near Woodall Rodgers Fwy. Vehicle rollover. DPD on scene requesting to close the freeway. Possible fatality accident. Accident investigation will cause prolonged closure.


Shooting (Arlington)

Arlington PD is investigating a reported shooting at an apartment complex in the 3200 block of S. Center Street. Engine 6 and Medic 8 were called to the scene for a gunshot wound victim. EMS transporting to JPS.


Fatality Accident (Ft Worth)

Engine 20, Engine 24, MedStar and multiple FWPD on scene of a fatality accident northbound east Loop 820 just north of I30. MedStar reports one deceased at the scene. One other patient with critical injuries. Expect heavy delays in this area.


Shooting (Kaufman)

Multiple law enforcement as well as Kaufman FD and CareFlite ground are working a shooting at the Walmart, 300 Kings Fort Parkway. CareFlite is airlifting one from the scene to Parkland. At least one person is dead on the scene. It’s best to completely avoid this area if you live nearby.


Rollover Accident (Frisco/Prosper)

Frisco Battalion 1, Engine 1, Medic 1 and Prosper Engine 1, Medic 1 along with law enforcement are working a rollover accident on eastbound 380 near La Cima Blvd. One vehicle on its top. One occupant on the ground outside of the vehicle. PD reported the patient to be unresponsive. Prosper FD advising the patient has priority 2 (serious) injuries.


House Fire (Dallas)

Battalion 9, Engine 42 on scene with a lot of fire and smoke showing from the back of a structure in the 8600 block of Wingate Drive near Capps Drive. Working fire. Requesting DPD to block the road for fire hose across the street. Battalion 7, Engine 27, Engine 35, Engine 43, Rescue 42, Truck 11 and Truck 43 all on the first alarm.
Update – Command has just requested a 2nd alarm response to this fire. Battalion 1, Battalion 3, Engine 2, Engine 41, Engine 47, Rescue 43, Truck and USAR 19 Truck 36, and Truck 41 all assigned as the 2nd alarm.


Search (Ft Worth)

Battalion 5, Quint 23, Engine 23, Brush 23, Dive 7, MedStar and FWPD are on scene of a possible person in the water at Loop 820 over Lake Worth. Reported as a possible fall or jump from the bridge. Units searching the water for possible victim.

Update – Fort Worth FD reports they have recovered a body.


Shooting (Plano)

Plano Police are investigating a shooting in the area of Hedgecoxe Road and Fain Drive. Medic 10 is ground transporting a gunshot wound victim to MCP, trauma alert. Please avoid this are and expect heavy police presence for investigation.


Accident (Ft Worth)

Quint 9, Engine 31 along with MedStar and FWPD are working a major accident on south bound Interstate 35 at Meacham Blvd. Reported to be two charter buses involved. Engine 25, Engine 12, Quint 12 and Battalion 3 also responding. A2
MedStar has three ambulances assigned to this accident. FD advising all south bound lanes of I-35 will be shut down. All vehicles will be forced to exit at Meacham Blvd

Engine 25 reporting three patients needing transported. 10 passengers to be evaluated.


Charter Bus Accident (Ft Worth)

Accident (Ft Worth) Quint 9, Engine 31 along with MedStar and FWPD are working a major accident on south bound Interstate 35 at Meacham Blvd. Reported to be two charter buses involved each carrying 60 passengers. Engine 25, Engine 12, Quint 12 and Battalion 3 also responding. A2


Accident w/ Entrapment (Dallas)

Multiple Dallas Fire crews on scene of a two vehicle major accident with multiple injuries near W Wheatland Road and Racine Drive. Possible entrapment. At least two vehicles involved with major damage. One vehicle rolled over off the roadway into a fence and tree.


Hot Pursuit (Garland)

Garland PD is in a pursuit on westbound I20 coming up to I45. DPS chopper is following overhead.

Update – Vehicle stopped near Live Oak St and Haskell. 3 in custody. Great job Garland PD, DPS-101, and assisting agencies!


Police Activity (North Richland Hills)

NRHPD is working a incident at the Walmart located at 6401 NE Loop 820. The store and parking lot have been evacuated. This is an ongoing active incident and no details will be released for officer safety. Please do not leave any comments. An update will be provided when it is safe to do so. Also, please stay away from the location.

Water Rescue (Ft Worth)

The firefighters from Fort Worth Fire Station #18 were dispatched to a High Water Rescue call in the 2900 Block of Hulen Street around 7:00 this morning. After a thunderstorm dumping rain and hail moved quickly through the area, the street flooded with water carrying a layer of hail on it’s surface. Firefighters reported that a single vehicle had attempted to make it through the water. However, on their arrival, the vehicle was stuck and the water had risen to ‘waist height’. The firefighters from Engine 18 were able to rescue a single female occupant from her car and remove the ice which was clogging the storm drain.
  


Major Accident (Prosper)

Prosper FD/EMS on scene of a major accident with major damage along eastbound 380 at Dallas Parkway. Two vehicles. No reports of any major injuries. Chief 2 is advising responding fire units to “not get out of your vehicle in this hail” as a severe thunderstorm is currently pelting Prosper. Prosper PD and Frisco FD also on scene


Shooting (Carrollton)

Carrollton PD is on scene of a reported shooting in the 4200 block of Wichita Drive. Originally dispatched as a person trying to gain access to the house. Carrollton Fire/EMS on scene for an unresponsive person/possible gunshot wound victim at this location. Crime Scene and investigators all requested.


Search (Garland)

Garland PD with assistance from Plano PD K-9 and DPS-101 helicopter are searching for a reported burglary suspect in the area of Shiloh Road and Belt Line Road. Search is concentrated on a nearby apartment complex. Suspect described as a late 20’s black male wearing a dark colored shirt, jeans, and black shoes. Expect heavy police presence.


Fatality Accident Investigation (McKinney)

McKinney PD has been investigating a rollover accident into a creek that occurred today along the northbound and southbound lanes of 75 at the Honey Creek bridge, north of Bloomdale Road. Vehicle crashed off the roadway into a creek bed. Occupant deceased on the scene. Public safety units have been on scene since around 3pm and should be there now while investigating takes place. Vehicle Crash / Shooting (Pilot Point)

Pilot Point PD is on scene of a reported vehicle crash and shooting incident near the intersection of Church Street and Grove Street. Dispatched as a vehicle crash, and now reports indicate it has turned into a shooting incident. PHI and CareFlite have both launched helicopters to the scene for crash/gunshot victims. Aubrey EMS has been dispatched to assist.

Update – Aubrey EMS ground transporting to Denton Regional, CPR in progress. CareFlite’s air medical crew is riding aboard the ambulance to assist with CPR and patient care. PHI Med 10 will be airlifting their gunshot wound patient to Medical Center of Plano.


Shooting (Ft Worth)

Fort Worth PD east side officers are investigating a shooting in the 5000 block of Ave G. MedStar is ground transporting a gunshot victim to JPS, serious injuries. Unknown suspect information. Avoid this area.


Major Accident (Dallas)

Dallas Fire and Hazmat are working a major accident involving a large truck on northbound 75 at Mockingbird. Large truck has crashed into the exit barrier to Mockingbird Lane. Hazmat on scene to contain spillage from the crash. Major delays on northbound 75 – it’s best to find an alternate route.


House Fire (Ft Worth)

Quint 12, Engine 12 on scene with heavy fire showing from a residential structure in the 2600 block of Hutchinson Street. Battalion 3, Engine 19, Engine 25, Quint 9, Safety 1, and Utility 6 all assigned to this fire.


Burns (McKinney)

McKinney Fire/EMS are on scene at Scoggins Middle School, 7070 Stacy Road, for a burn victim. PHI Med 2 landed at the scene and airlifted what is believed to be a custodian/maintenance worker from the school. The school has been evacuated and there are no reports of any other people hurt. *Yesterday* Shooting (Arlington)

The Arlington Police Department responded to the 2400 block of Sunflower Drive around 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 in reference to a shooting. When officers arrived, they located a man with apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. Detectives do not believe the shooting was random and that the victim might have possibly known the shooter. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Caleb Blank at 817-459-5735. Tipsters can remain anonymous by contacting Tarrant County Crime Stoppers at 817-469-TIPS and may be eligible for a cash reward.


Officer Involved Shooting (Ft Worth)

Multiple law enforcement on scene of a reported officer involved shooting in the 200 block of FM 2871. AVOID THIS AREA.

Update – CareFlite launched to the scene. 

Update – Suspect deceased. Officer has sustained very serious injuries.

Update – Please avoid the area of Longvue Ave/Chapin School Road between I30 and I20 in far west Fort Worth.

Update – CareFlite airlifting to JPS.

Fort Worth PD confirms one of their officer has been shot. The officer has been airlifted to JPS with multiple gunshot wounds. Two suspects: one shot dead on scene and another suspect on the loose. We do not have a good description at this time. Residents in the area of 2800 Longvue Ave are advised to remain indoors. Please completely avoid this area.

Update – Suspect is “adult white male” says FWPD no other information given.

Update – Several agencies assisting FWPD on this one, from ground and in the air. Active search along Marys Creek west of Longvue Ave.

Update – Multiple unconfirmed reports that the 2nd suspect is in custody from this shooting.


Officer Involved Accident (Euless)

Officer Involved Accident (Euless) Euless PD officer has been involved in a major accident in the 1800 block of east bound W Euless Blvd. Medic 552, Engine 552, Battalion 55 along with other Euless PD officers on scene. A Second ambulance has been requested to the scene. A2

Update – Radio traffic from Euless PD would indicate non-serious injuries.


House Fire (Watauga)

Battalion 31 is on scene with heavy smoke showing from the garage of a house in the 6600 block of Murel Drive. Battalion 31 has command. North Richland Hills FD, Keller FD, and Haltom City FD mutual aid.


Major Accident (Arlington)

Engine 2 is on scene of a multi-vehicle major accident on southbound 360 between Mayfield and I20, requesting a total of three ambulances to the scene and additional fire apparatus. Several vehicles involved.

Update – APD reports no major injuries.


Traumatic Injury (Ft Worth)

Battalion 4, Quint 33, Engine 27, and MedStar on scene of a fall from a construction site in the 14500 block of FAA Blvd. CareFlite 6 has been launched to the scene. Command advising CareFlite will be landing just north of the NBC news tower.

Update – CareFlite airlifted to Methodist Dallas.


Accident w/ Entrapment (Arlington)

Engine 5 is on scene of a major accident with entrapment, requesting extrication response at westbound I30 near Ballpark. Quint 8 is about to be on scene to assist with extrication. Arlington EMS and PD are both on scene as well.

Update – Quint 8 on scene, 1 trapped. Non-critical injuries.

Update – Extrication complete.


Departmental Accident (Arlington)

Arlington FD Engine 11 has been struck while on scene of a crash southbound 360 near Division St. Roads are very slick in this area. There are multiple accidents. Slow down and watch for emergency personnel. You know, the vehicles with the blue and red lights. Not too hard to spot.


Structure Fire (Ft Worth)

Quint 33 is on scene of a fully involved garage fire in the 13200 block of S Pipeline Road. Euless Quint 553 reported heavy smoke showing while en route to the fire. Battalion 4, Engine 27, Engine 7, Engine 20, and Safety 1 as well as Euless Battalion 55 all assigned.


Search (Arlington)

Arlington PD is searching for a possible robbery suspect in the 5400 block of Safari Trail. A nearby school, Fitzgerald Elementary, has been placed on lockdown as a precaution. Expect heavy police presence in this area.


Fatality Accident (Arlington)

Engine 3, Arlington EMS Medic 3 and multiple APD on scene of a fatality accident in the 2400 block of S Fielder near Arkansas Ln. Vehicle rollover and hit a house. AFD reports fatality on scene. S Fielder Road closed.

Update – Quint 8, Engine 8, and the Technical Rescue team have extricated the deceased from the vehicle. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s office is on scene. There were no other people injured inside the house or vehicle. S Fielder will remain closed for a short while longer to remove the vehicle and complete the investigation.


Tornado Count (N. TX)

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth confirms five tornadoes struck north Texas the past two days. On Monday March 7, an EF-1 tornado struck just east of Cool, TX (Parker Co.), an EF-1 tornado struck in Stephenville, TX (Erath Co.), and an EF-1 tornado struck near Tolar, TX (Hood Co.). Yesterday, two tornadoes, both EF-0, struck near Benbrook and in The Colony.


NOT DFW – Flooding (Lake Mexia)

Lake Mexia/Limestone County – There is significant flooding ongoing across portions of Limestone County and Falls County near Waco. Evacuations are in progress for residents around Lake Mexia. Public safety reports the lake is “rising rapidly.” They are utilizing a rescue boat to evacuate residents. Comanche Crossing is still passable, but water is up the bridge. Share with any friends/family that live in this area.


Major Accident (Crandall)

Homicide Investigation (Arlington)

On March 8, 2016 at around 3:30 a.m., the Arlington Police Department responded to the 2300 block of Summer Place Drive in reference to a shooting investigation. Officers arrived on scene and located a man lying near the street with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. A second person with an apparent gunshot wound was also located and transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators are trying to determine what exactly happened and led up to this incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Ben Lopez at 817-459-5373. Full Update (North Texas)

It has already been a busy day across much of north Texas. Last night, a probable tornado caused damage just east of Cool, TX along Highway 180. There were also more than a dozen water rescues across Parker, Wise, and Denton counties. Parker County’s Rescue 33, Boat 33, and Squad 101 rescued a total of 4 people, 6 dogs, and 7 horses last night from houses/properties in high water. Paradise FD and others in Wise County were busy with multiple high water rescues. This morning, a tornado caused significant damage and some injuries east of Tolar along Hwy 377. Multiple mobile homes were blown over, and roofs of houses were blown off. Strong winds also caused some minor fence/pole damage in Tarrant County, along with some structural damage at TCC Northwest campus and others. The Colony FD reports more than a dozen homes damaged in their city by either straight line winds or a tornado. Several homes across north Texas were also struck by lightning. And if you had a trampoline in your backyard, odds are you have donated it to the neighbors! Its already been a busy day for much of north Texas.
