Large Fire (Dallas)

Truck 43 is on scene of a large mulch pile on fire in the 1900 block of California Crossing Road. Battalion 7, Battalion 9, Engine 35, Engine 43, Engine 47, Truck 36, Brush 30, and Rescue 43 all assigned to the fire. This one will be burning a while.

Structure Fire (Johnson County)

Briaroaks FD, Alvarado FD, Lillian/ESD 82 FD, and Rendon FD are all on scene of a structure fire in the 6500 block of CR 608. Heavy fire showing from a two story residence. Defensive fire operations at this time. Venus FD, Burleson FD, Keene FD, and the Emergency Support Service have also been requested to the scene.

HazMat (Dallas)

Multiple Dallas Fire-Rescue crews are working a fuel spill with HazMat response on southbound I45 near Loop 12/Great Trinity Forest Way. TxDOT reports this as a vehicle fire involving an 18 wheeler. Expect some delays in this area.

Fatality Accident (Grapevine)

Grapevine PD is investigating a fatality accident this morning on northbound Highway 121 near FM 2499. All northbound lanes of 121 were closed to investigate the crash. Grapevine EMS ground transported one patient to Baylor Grapevine with CPR in progress, but the injuries were too significant. The accident occurred between 8am and 9am this morning.

Major Accident (Springtown)

Springtown FD, La Junta FD, LifeCare EMS, and law enforcement are all working a major accident on westbound Highway 199 just west of Springtown. Possible ejection and entrapment. Air Evac has been launched to the scene. Multiple patients. Avoid this area.

Gunshot Wound (Anna)

Anna FD, Collin County EMS, law enforcement, and PHI Med 2 have all responded to a reported gunshot wound victim at the Hurricane Creek Country Club. Collin County EMS is ground transporting a victim to Medical Center of McKinney with CPR in progress. (Information: First Response Photography)

Accident w/ Entrapment (Ennis)

Engine 191, Medic 191 on scene of a major accident with reported entrapment at Ensign Road and Highway 287. 18 wheeler vs vehicle. Truck 192 and Chief 192 are responding to assist. Medic 191 has launched air medical to the scene.

Update – Air medical canceled due to extended ETA. Medic 191 is ground transporting one patient by ground to Ennis Regional.

Major Accident (Balch Springs)

Balch Springs FD Ladder 1, Engine 2, CareFlite ground medics 451, 461, and 471 along with a CareFlite ground EMS supervisor and Balch Springs PD are working a major accident on eastbound 175 at I20. Multiple injuries.Several Dallas Fire-Rescue units are also working this scene. Avoid this area.

Pursuit End (Dallas)

Dallas PD was in pursuit when at least one suspect bailed in the area of Masters Drive and Bruton Road. The pursuit went westbound on Bruton Road from this intersection and ended in that area. Air-1 is overhead and K-9 has been requested to the scene.

Pursuit, Crash, Vehicle Fire (Palo Pinto Co)

Palo Pinto Co. Sheriffs, DPS troopers, and fire personnel are on scene of a reported major accident with vehicle on fire westbound I20 near 281. Reports indicate this was a police chase and the suspect crashed the vehicle at a high rate of speed. The vehicle is fully engulfed. Air Evac helicopter has been requested to the scene. Update – Air Evac has been disregarded and the JP has been requested to the scene. The patient is deceased on scene.

Accident w/ Entrapment (Frisco)

Battalion 2, Quint 6, Medic 6, and Frisco PD are on scene of a major accident with entrapment at Panther Creek Parkway and Grayhawk Blvd. Reported vehicle vs. pole. CareFlite was requested to stand by, but they are unavailable due to weather. Reports indicate serious injuries. Avoid this area.

Update – Medic 6 ground transporting one patient to THR Plano with serious trauma injuries.

House Fire (Plano)

Truck 4, Engine 4, and Engine 10 are all on scene of a working house fire in the 3200 block of Monette Lane. Smoke showing from the eaves of the 2 story house. Battalion 2 taking command. Engine 12, Truck 8, and Medic 10 are also assigned to the fire.

Major Accident (Dallas)

Truck 53, Engine 53, and other DFR units are working a major accident with possible entrapment on southbound N Buckner Blvd near I30. Truck 53 requesting a second ambulance for a total of two. Dallas PD notified to assist with traffic control. Avoid this area.

Update – Third ambulance requested to the scene.

Rollover Accident (Ft Worth/Saginaw)

Fort Worth FD, Saginaw FD, MedStar, and multiple law enforcement are working a rollover accident on eastbound NW Loop 820 near Blue Mound Road. CareFlite was requested, but has been canceled. MedStar will be ground transporting at least one patient. Two MedStar units on scene. All eastbound lanes are closed. Avoid this area.

Update – MedStar ground transporting one to JPS, stable.

Rescue (Dallas)

DFR is currently working to rescue a person trapped in a creek bed near the 600 block of W. Clarendon Drive. Battalion 6 reports the person is conscious. The rescue is in progress. Expect heavy FD response in this area.

Apartment Fire (Arlington)

Engine 11, Quint 8, Engine 8, Engine 5, and Truck 1 are all on scene of a reported apartment fire. The fire has been knocked down. Units are working to complete a primary search of the building. Unknown address at this time, but it is in north Arlington.

Major Accident (Dallas)

Multiple Dallas Fire-Rescue units are on scene of a major accident with possible entrapment on westbound 175 (CF Hawn Freeway) at St. Augustine Road. TxDOT reports this as a vehicle that crashed off St. Augustine Road and onto the freeway. DFR was dispatched as a possible person pinned in the vehicle. Expect delays in this area.

Accident w/ Entrapment (Arlington)

Engine 17 is on scene of a multiple vehicle accident with multiple people trapped on N Collins Street near NE Green Oaks Blvd. Battalion 1 and Quint 8 have been requested to assist with extrication. Avoid this area.

Update – Command reports three patients with major injuries, requesting launch of helicopter and additional EMS units. Avoid this area.

Update – Command canceled the helicopter response. Arlington EMS ground transported one patient to Texas Health HEB with major injuries.

Update – CareFlite 2 has landed at Texas Health HEB to fly one patient from this car accident to Harris Methodist. Critical injuries. CPR is in progress.Update – Arlington PD reports this as a double fatality accident. The crash investigation continues.

Pursuit End / Standoff (Parker County)

*Delayed for officer safety – Law enforcement has ended a standoff secondary to the end of a police chase in the 2800 block of Highway 199 just west of Springtown. The highway was closed as police worked the scene. Officers have approached the vehicle and the situation has been resolved. Its best to avoid this area.

Fatality Accident (Arlington)

The Arlington Police Department is investigating a crash that took place in the 700 block of West Abram Street on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 around 5 p.m. A vehicle was turning southbound onto North Cooper Street from Abram Street and collided with a pedestrian in the roadway.
Investigators believe the female pedestrian was attempting to cross Cooper Street when she was struck. The 27-year old female was transported to a local hospital where she was later pronounced deceased. 


The investigation is ongoing and detectives will continue to look into the cause of the crash. No charges are expected against the driver of the vehicle at this time.

Search (Arlington)

DPS-101 helicopter is currently assisting ground officers and K-9 in a search off S Collins Street near the Municipal Airport. Officers are searching for one person who fled from police on foot. No other details known. The search is concentrated in the area of Bandera Drive and Barbara Drive just east of the airport. Avoid this area.

Explosion (Ellis County)

Bardwell FD is on scene of a possible explosion at a plant in the 6500 block of Highway 34 near Farmer Road. Ennis FD is also responding and Avalon FD is on standby. FD units report there was some type of explosion situation at the Pencco plant. Working to extinguish the fire at this time.

Setting an area radius at this time. Please completely avoid this area and watch for responding personnel.

Update – Fire is out.

Additional Grass Fires (Ellis County)

Multiple FDs are working to contain two additional grass fires in Ellis County: a second in Alma off FM 85 near the Speedway and one near Ferris. Garrett Rural FD is working the fire in Alma (Alma Fire units are working the fire off Tom Sawyer Road) and Ferris FD, Bristol FD, and Red Oak FD are all working the grass fire near Ferris on FM 780, per Ellis County Informer.

Grass Fire (Ellis County)

Multiple FDs are working to gain access to a grass fire blowing heavy smoke across Interstate 45 between Alma and Rice. FD reports limited visibility on the highway. Alma FD, Ennis FD, Central High FD, and Rice FD all responding. Fire is in the 200 block of Tom Sawyer Road.

Accident w/ Entrapment (Ft Worth)

Quint 35, Engine 11, Engine 34, MedStar, and law enforcement are on scene of a major accident with reported entrapment in the 14500 block of Blue Mound Road. One patient with major injuries. Rescue 38 is also responding to assist. Air medical has been launched to the scene. Avoid this area.

Major Accident (Johnson County)

Southbound I35W has been closed between Alvarado and Grandview due to a major accident involving a semi. Reports indicate one person with major injuries. CareFlite airlifted one from the scene. Northbound also down to one lane. Southbound lanes expected to be closed into the morning hours. 

Carbon Monoxide Incident (Bartonville)

Carbon Monoxide Incident (Bartonville) FM407 and McMakin in Bartonville Shopping Center – Argyle FD on scene with multiple patients from a Carbon Monoxide leak in a commercial strip center. Mutual Aid requested from Flower Mound for additional Medic unit and the AmBus. A3

Highland Village, Double Oak, and Justin, and Roanoke also all responding or on scene with units to assist. A3

Transport sector advises enough medics are on scene. Cancelling additional incoming Medic units. A3

Command reports to dispatch all medical units are being released. No patients are being transported to any hospitals. A3

DRILL (Dallas)

There is currently a full scale emergency exercise/drill ongoing at Dallas Love Field. Multiple Dallas Fire-Rescue crews along with CareFlite, Flower Mound Fire’s AmBus unit, and more are on scene for the drill. Again, there is no emergency – if you see emergency vehicles at the airport it is just a drill.

Major Accident (Frisco)

Chief 5, Engine 1, Rescue 1, and Frisco PD are on scene of a major accident with entrapment on Preston Road at Rockhill Parkway. Chief 5 reported two vehicles involved with an occupant pinned. Stabilizing vehicle and starting extrication.

Update – Extrication is complete.

Major Accident (Waxahachie)

Battalion 1, Truck 3, Engine 3, Ellis County Medic 161, and law enforcement are all working a major accident on 287 at Ovilla Road. Reported as a vehicle that hit the bridge pillar. Medic 161 is ground transporting an occupant to Baylor Dallas with serious, potentially critical injuries.
