2 Alarm Fire (Fort Worth)

Engine 4 is on scene of a fire at a commercial facility near the intersection of E. Richmond Ave. and McCurdy Street. Requesting a 2nd alarm response to the scene. Smoke coming from the structure. Multiple crews have interior fire attack in progress.

Police Incident (Dallas)

Multiple Dallas PD units are working a situation in the 11600 block of Forest Central Drive. Suspect on foot last seen wearing white shirt and dark pants armed with a gun. Air-1 and K9 requested. AVOID THIS AREA.

Update – This is an ongoing situation near the Home Depot store. Reports of at least one injured officer transported to the hospital. Search for armed suspect in progress.

Search (Plano)

Plano PD is searching for a robbery suspect in the area of Parkwood and Yeary. Brinker, Renner, and Plano West schools are on lockout while they search for the suspect who fled on foot. Avoid this area.

Fatal Accident (Sanger)

Yesterday around 2pm, Sanger Fire/EMS and law enforcement were dispatched to the area of 14000 Rector Road for a rollover accident with entrapment. Multiple ambulances were requested to the scene for multiple people injured. According to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner records, a teenager died in this crash.

Fatality Accident (Dallas)

Dallas Police and Fire are investigating a major accident at the intersection of S. Westmoreland Road and W. Jefferson Blvd. The crash occurred around 8:00pm this evening. Engine 26 was first on scene and requested a heavy rescue response for entrapment. The Medical Examiner has responded due to a fatality on the scene. At least one vehicle involved with major damage. Avoid this intersection.

Standoff (Grand Prairie)

Grand Prairie Police is asking the public to avoid the area around IKEA. They are engaged in a standoff with an armed suspect near the entrance to the store. We will not be broadcasting updates due to the ongoing situation. Stay clear of the area.

Update from GPPD Chief – GPPD received a call of a welfare check around 1:30pm. A vehicle was parked just inside the IKEA parking lot off Robinson Road. Officers approached the vehicle. Shots were fired. The suspect was inside the vehicle and produced a weapon. Multiple shots were fired. The SWAT team was called in to assist. After a standoff, the SWAT team discovered the suspect deceased inside the vehicle with a rifle.

Traffic Alert (Duncanville)

Traffic Alert (Duncanville) All lanes stopped westbound I20 near Cedar Ridge due to a major accident involving an 18 wheeler and a vehicle on fire. Major delays on the eastbound side as well. Take another route!

Update – All westbound lanes remain closed. The accident involves an 18 wheeler and at least two other vehicles that caught fire. Reports of a fatality. Major delays. Avoid this area.

House Fire (Plano)

Engine 3 is on scene with heavy smoke showing from a house in the 2700 block of Charter Oak Drive. Engine 3 conducting a fast attack. Homeowner reports everyone is out of the house. Two story house. Battalion 1, Battalion 2, Engine 1, Engine 11, Engine 6, Medic 3, Squad 1, Truck 1, and Truck 2 all assigned.

Major Accident (Parker County)

Multiple units are on scene of a major accident on Highway 199 west of Springtown. The accident involves at least two vehicles with major damage. Both vehicles have crashed off the roadway. Reports of a possible fatality at the scene. Avoid this area.

Apartment Fire (Fort Worth)

Engine 39, Quint 26, and other units are on scene with heavy smoke showing from an apartment complex in the 5100 block of Overton Ridge. Working fire declared. Second engine bring water. Battalion 5, Battalion 3, Quint 21, Engine 21, Engine 16, Quint 16, Engine 30 all assigned.

Rescue (Plano)

Battalion 1, Engine 13, Truck 4, Rescue 4, Medic 7, and Frisco FD are on scene of a rescue at a construction site near Communications Parkway and Headquarters Drive. Reported to be a high rise construction area. Worker trapped on the 15th floor. Rescue is in progress.

Update – Patient has been rescued and is safely on the ground.

Fatality Accident (Plano/Frisco)

Plano Fire/EMS, Frisco Fire/EMS, and multiple police are on scene of a major accident on eastbound Sam Rayburn Tollway near Ohio Drive. FD units report one patient is deceased on scene and another patient with serious to potentially critical injuries. Major delays in this area. It’s best to avoid.

Apartment Fire (Fort Worth)

Engine 31, Engine 15, and other FWFD units are on scene with heavy smoke showing from an apartment building in the 6100 block of Station Way Drive. Working fire. Engine 31 and Engine 1 pulling lines. Engine 15 catching the plug. Battalion 2, Battalion 3, Quint 12, Quint 9, Truck 1, Engine 25, Engine 37, Engine 12, Safety 1 all assigned.

Fire (Downtown Dallas)

Engine 18 is on scene of a reported fire at a multi-story high rise building at 2370 Victory Ave in downtown. Engine 18 reports a possible electrical fire on the ground floor. Requesting a full structure fire response.

Update – Fire under control.

Rollover Accident (Dallas)

Dallas Police and Fire are on scene of a major accident involving a vehicle rollover in the 400 block of S. Montreal Ave at W 12th Street in Oak Cliff. Requesting an additional ambulance to the scene. The vehicle has struck a house causing major damage.

Structure Fire (Hurst)

The Hurst Fire Department is investigating the cause of a structure fire at 7600 block of Precinct Line Rd. that occurred around 8:10 a.m. Dispatched received an EMS call from a male who said his brother was not breathing. When the fire department arrived at the scene, they realized a fire had been in the bedroom and was smoldering. There were two males at the residence; one has been transported to Parkland Hospital and is in critical condition, and the other has no known injuries. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.

House Fire (Dallas)

Engine 54 is on scene with smoke showing from a one story house in the 2900 block of Pine Trail Road. Engine 46 bringing water from the hydrant. Truck 25 conducting a primary search of the building and Truck 40 has ventilation. Battalion 5 is in command. Engine 54 getting a knockdown with a quick attack.

House Fire (Hurst)

Hurst FD is on scene of a house fire and possible explosion near Redbud Drive and Myrtle Drive. Several residents reported hearing an explosion in the area. See DFWScanner social media for pictures and video.

Apartment Fire (Plano)

Truck 2 is on scene of a working fire at an apartment complex in the 1500 block of Rio Grande Drive. Engine 1 reports heavy smoke showing from a three story apartment building. Working fire declared. Battalion 1, Battalion 2, Engine 12, Engine 2, Engine 4, Engine 6, Medic 2, Truck 1 all assigned.

Police Incident (Fort Worth)

We’ve had numerous inquiries regarding the situation in west Fort Worth. FWPD says this is a barricaded person situation. They were dispatched to the 10200 block of Maverick Drive around 6:30pm. Northbound traffic on Chapel Creek closed at Westpoint. Please remember: we do not post or broadcast updates during an ongoing police situation. Avoid this area.

Rescue (Dallas)

Battalion 6, Truck 11, Engine 11, and other DFR units are on scene of a rescue situation at a construction area near Hi Line Drive and the I35E Service Road. Construction worker trapped. DFR’s Urban Search & Rescue team is en route to assist with extraction.

House Fire (Plano)

Plano Engine 3 is on scene of a working house fire in the 3400 block of Sherrye Drive. Heavy smoke showing from the roof and attic. Engine 3 going into fast attack. Homeowner says everyone is out. Battalion 1, Battalion 2, Engine 11, Engine 2, Engine 1, Medic 3, Truck 1, and Truck 2 are all assigned.

Rollover w/ Entrapment (Fort Worth)

Engine 1, Truck 1, MedStar, and FWPD are on scene of a major accident on eastbound 121 / Airport Freeway just east of I35W. Engine 1 reports one person trapped in a vehicle that has overturned on its side. Engine 19 requested to assist. Extrication is in progress.

Apartment Fire (Ft Worth)

Multiple FWFD units are on scene of an apartment fire in the 9200 block of Saddlehorn Drive. Quint 23 was first on scene with heavy smoke showing. Battalion 5, Battalion 2, Quint 16, Engine 32, Engine 16, Engine 18, Engine 39, and other units on scene.
